00:00Returning for their 35th season,

00:03one of the longest-running developmental basketball programs in the country,

00:07the SBP-Pasarel Basketball Twin Tournament.

00:10This is the story of Daryl Oclares.

00:15After a few years of suspension due to the pandemic,

00:20SBP-Pasarel Basketball Twin Tournament was re-launched for the 35th season

00:26from the initiative of the proud coach and best center founder, Nick George.

00:31SBP-Pasarel is one of the longest-running basketball clinics in the country

00:36for children aged 15 and below.

00:40I'm so happy because this is the legacy of my dad, Coach Nick,

00:44and my mom, Marilyn.

00:46So, to jumpstart this again, and with this re-launch,

00:50we're really super happy.

00:52And you can hear the testimonials of the old SBP-Pasarel players.

00:59It's really touching to see the effect of this tournament on them.

01:03Before the official action in Hardcourt began,

01:07the tournament was first held this Friday in Lungsod, Makati.

01:11Here, some officials from Milo and Best Center came.

01:16The Philippine Executive Director, Atty. Erick Ady,

01:20alumni of the sports clinic run by Fonashere,

01:24DJ Manalo, Andre Caracut, and Wesley Gonzalez.

01:28During the interview with Fonashere,

01:31he shared his learnings as a graduate of SBP-Pasarel.

01:36A lot of fundamentals, a lot of basic stuff.

01:39Nothing special, but an emphasis on perfecting the basic stuff.

01:48The SBP-Pasarel Basketball Twin Tournament will be held

01:51on October 12 in Roja City, Capix.
