00:00I know you wanted some redemption from that XFINITY series race, but can you describe
00:07the ending of this cup series race for you here on Sunday?
00:10Chaotic.
00:11I'm pretty pissed at myself, to be honest.
00:13Our weather tech was really, really good.
00:16All race we were running up front, able to make moves, even on old tires, and, yeah,
00:21just had a little bobble when I turned into the chicane and thought I kind of pulled out
00:25enough, but just clipped the inside wall, and, yeah, that was it, and then Chris just
00:29had position on me, and he did a really good job, you know, congrats to him, and I knew
00:34by moving him at turn one a little bit, he was going to get me back, so I was just pushing
00:37really hard on the entry so he couldn't get to me and just made an error.
00:41I want to revisit that final restart, though, because your friend, Marcus Ambrose, would
00:44have been proud of you.
00:45You showed some sparks of him out there at the racetrack.
00:47What did you see in that final restart?
00:49I just had to have a go, you know.
00:50The last couple of restarts, I wasn't quite good enough, and, you know, the guys would
00:54get me around the outside, and then I would try not to use them up at two and give up
00:57my position, so I thought, all right, I'm going to have a little crack and just had
01:00a bump and just enough to put them wide so I could get along the inside, and it worked
01:04really well, but, yeah, anyway.
01:08Thanks Shane.
