TESTING YOUR BODYS FRAMEWORK WITH SALLY FIELD

When Academy Award winning actress Sally Field was diagnosed with osteoporosis in 2005, she made a plan with her physician to improve the health of her bones. Osteoporosis (porous bones) is a disease which causes bones to become thinner and weaker and more likely to break. In the U.S. today, 10 million people -- eight million of them women -- are estimated to already have osteoporosis, and almost 34 million more are estimated to have low bone mass (osteopenia) placing them at increased risk for osteoporosis. “If you have experienced bone loss, now is the time that you can actually stop its progression, you can even reverse it. But you really have to work at it to keep healthy bone density, healthy bones, to prevent those fractures.”
