00:00On September 8, the Siglawan or Siglang Lawa of Tanawan was officially inaugurated.

00:07The aim of this inauguration is to promote tourism in the town.

00:11And one of the most anticipated celebrations is the Bancarera in Lawa ng Taal.

00:16We are showcasing the culture of the people of Tanawan.

00:20The culture of the use of boats.

00:23The use of these boats brought life to their ancestors in the past.

00:28We used these boats as a way of recreation.

00:33And we also used them for competitions.

00:37We met Tatay Benedicto, who has been participating in tourism for three years.

00:41I am very happy when I am in Lawa and I am a boatman.

00:45Especially when we have a competition here in Lawa.

00:50But it is not only the boats that are leading in Tanawan.

00:54There are also boats that can carry one hand.

01:43Jason is only 15 years old when he first tried to make his own mini boat.
