00:00Today, as we take responsibility for these flags here in Los Angeles, and for the next
00:20four years, we take on the responsibility of lifting up the values of the Olympic movement.
00:27It is in that spirit that we believe the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Los Angeles
00:34will be a Games for All.
00:37The Games mean an opportunity to create jobs, to support businesses, and to uplift local
00:43communities.
00:45An opportunity for us to come together, united by sport, and united in pride for our neighborhoods
00:52upon which the eyes of the world will be drawn.
00:56They only go for that metallic vest, which is the lethal blow, going for the killing
01:00blow.
01:01Score on any part of the body, which includes the mask, hand, arm, everything counts, that's
01:05a street fight.
01:06Duel of first blood.
01:07And also, they have the same lame material, but it includes the sleeves, fence, halt.
01:16I hope that with the Games in LA, that the Paralympics will be able to grow tremendously,
01:21and many young people with disabilities will see opportunities for themselves and play
01:25sports.
01:27Possibilities are endless, no matter what obstacles you have.
01:29And if I can do it, you can do it, too.
01:32The 2028 Games are now at our doorstep.
01:36They will be a celebration of our vibrant city, a city of creativity, a city of diversity,
01:43of entertainment, of defining culture, with sports at its core, and ultimately, with athletes
01:50at the heart of everything we do.
01:53There is no platform like the Games to drive transformative change in our host city.
