00:00Out of the 5,000 beneficiaries in Ilocos Norte who were given financial assistance in the first place,

00:05President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. was the first to share it.

00:08Aside from that, the President also gave patient transport vehicles to LGUs in Region 1.

00:18Along with the anniversary of the 107th birthday of former President Ferdinand E. Marcos, Sr.,

00:25President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. led various activities here in Ilocos Norte.

00:32He led the financial assistance from the Ayuda sa Kapos Ang Kita or ACAP program.

00:39More than 7,000 beneficiaries were given P5,000.

00:44Fisherfolks, farmers, market vendors, and tricycle drivers from Ilocos Norte District 1 were beneficiaries.

00:53President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. promised continuous support from the government to all Filipinos in need of assistance.

01:03He also continued to monitor the situation of various places in the Philippines.

01:11We did this here in Ilocos Norte.

01:14We are doing this because your national government knows that in the past 6 months,

01:24a lot has happened to our economy.

01:27We went through El Niño and the prices have gone up.

01:49We are here to continue to support and bring whatever help we can for those in need.

02:00The former President, Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr., also insisted on providing financial assistance

04:16to 68 local government units of Region 1.

04:2012 units were given to Ilocos Norte, 17 to Ilocos Sur, 8 to La Union, and 32 to Pangasinan.

04:29More than P150 million was given to LGUs.

04:36According to PCSO General Manager Mel Robles,

04:39they will continue to provide patient transport vehicles to all LGUs.

04:46This is a big help to improve the medical service that will be given to residents of each municipality.

04:53Our average is good in Region 1.

04:56We have already given a lot.

04:58Of all the regions, only Region 1 has given a lot.

05:01I think that is rightfully so because the road network of Region 1 is good.

05:06It will be easier to transport patients to hospitals.

05:13I would also like to commend Region 1 because they are good at documenting.

05:20Of course, there are documentary requirements as provided by law.

05:24So if the documents comply quickly, we will be able to give it quickly.

05:30But as much as possible, we want them to give to every municipality and city in the country.
