00:00Kamala Harris, have a good debate.
00:02Nice to see you, have fun.
00:04You've heard tonight two very different visions for our country.
00:09One that is focused on the future, and the other that is focused on the past.
00:14I will be a president that will protect our fundamental rights and freedoms, including
00:18the right of a woman to make decisions about her own body and not have her government tell
00:23her what to do.
00:24In Minnesota, she went out, wait a minute, I'm talking now, if you don't mind, please.
00:30Is that sound familiar?
00:32Hello there, this is me, Ansh Pandey on One India News.
00:36Just 56 days are now left for the grand showdown between Trump and Harris.
00:40However, 10th of September was quite an eventful day for the United States.
00:46The recent presidential debate between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump has sparked intense
00:53media coverage, with many outlets already declaring Harris the winner.
00:59This debate marked a significant shift in the race following President Biden's exit,
01:04showcasing a dynamic between the two new candidates.
01:10Harris' performance was widely praised across the media outlets.
01:13However, on social media, Donald Trump's responses to Harris gained wide traction.
01:20In Minnesota, she went out, wait a minute, I'm talking now, if you don't mind, please.
01:25Does that sound familiar?
01:28In this video, we'll elaborate to you how the American media, which is often considered
01:32as the pinnacle of journalism, viewed the outcome of the ABC debate 2024.
01:39Starting with the none other than the New York Times, NYT highlighted Harris' commanding
01:45presence, noting how she effectively put Trump on the defensive from the start and maintained
01:51the control throughout the debate.
01:54The sharp and clear messaging contrasted with Trump's increasingly angry and defensive demeanor.
02:02Whereas the Wall Street Journal also observed that Harris skillfully baited Trump into animated
02:08responses on various issues, including legal troubles.
02:13This approach differed notably from Trump's previous encounter with Biden as moderators
02:18actively pushed back against the false statements.
02:23The USA Today described Harris' performance as forceful, successfully rattling a defensive
02:29Donald Trump.
02:30The publication also noted that while Trump had previously dominated in debate with Biden,
02:36he found himself repeatedly on the defensive, this time against Harris, who demonstrated
02:41her ability to handle the pressure of the debate format.
02:45First of all, they bought their chips from Taiwan.
02:48We hardly make chips anymore because of philosophies like they have and policies like they have.
02:54I don't say her because she has no policy.
02:57Everything that she believed three years ago and four years ago is out the window.
03:02She's going to my philosophy now.
03:03In fact, I was going to send her a MAGA hat.
03:06She's gone to my philosophy.
03:07But if she ever got elected, she'd change it and it will be the end of our country.
03:13She's a Marxist.
03:14Everybody knows she's a Marxist.
03:16Her father is a Marxist professor in economics, and he taught her well.
03:20But when you look at what she's done to our country, and when you look at these millions
03:25and millions of people that are pouring into our country monthly, where it's, I believe,
03:2921 million people, not the 15 that people say.
03:32And I think it's a lot higher than the 21.
03:35That's bigger than New York State pouring in.
03:37And just look at what they're doing to our country.
03:40They're criminals.
03:41Many of these people coming in are criminals.
03:43And that's bad for our economy, too.
03:45You know, you mentioned before, we'll talk about immigration later.
03:47Well, bad immigration is the worst thing that can happen to our economy.
03:52They have, and she has, destroyed our country with policy that's insane.
03:58Almost policy that you'd say they have to hate our country.
04:02CNN, meanwhile, emphasized Harris's direct challenge to Trump, highlighting her confident
04:07approach with the statement, you are not running against Joe Biden.
04:11You are running against me.
04:14This assertiveness reportedly left Donald Trump struggling to regain his footing during
04:18the debate.
04:19Even Fox News, which is typically more sympathetic to Donald Trump, acknowledged this time Harris's
04:25strong performance.
04:26The network noted that Trump grew increasingly strident and divisive as the debate progressed,
04:32while Harris's confidence was bolstered by the moderators' fact-checking of Trump's statements.
04:39Despite the general consensus on Harris's victory, most outlets still noted that there
04:44was no knockout blow that can drastically affect the dynamics of the upcoming election.
04:50The race is still expected to be tight coming this November.
04:55The debate showcased Harris's readiness for presidential race as she successfully navigated
05:01the challenges and criticism from Donald Trump.
05:04Her performance was seen as a significant boost to her campaign, demonstrating her ability
05:09against her own as a seasoned politician who is also now a straight opponent.
05:17Contrasting with Biden versus Trump, Harris was indeed more attacking.
05:22As the election approaches, this debate may prove to be a turning point in the race, potentially
05:27reshaping the public perception of both candidates.
05:30However, with several months still to go before the election day, there's ample time for further
05:36developments.
05:38Don't miss out.
