Issues related to South China Sea to be ironed out via diplomatic channels, says Fahmi

Any issues concerning the South China Sea will be addressed through diplomatic channels, said Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil.  Fahmi, who is the government spokesman, made the statement during the weekly post-Cabinet press conference on Wednesday (Sept 11), in response to concerns about a foreign military vessel sighted within Malaysia’s exclusive economic zone (EEZ). 00:44The Foreign Ministerial Committee will represent the Prime Minister and the Government to UNGA this year,

00:51along with maybe one or two other ministers.

00:56But a special agenda has not been discussed today.

01:01The Foreign Ministerial Committee is also not present in today's cabinet meeting.

01:06So we have to wait before UNGA, before the Foreign Ministerial Committee goes to UNGA.
