00:10Our goal is to provide a deep foundational understanding of Tableau Prep Builder.

00:15We won't cover some advanced topics like R and Python or Tableau Prep Server integration

00:21in depth in this course.

00:23Additionally, what you see on your screen may not always match mine.

00:28Tableau Prep updates on a monthly basis for minor releases and a quarterly and yearly

00:33basis for major releases, so features and functionality may change over time.

00:39This course is primarily geared towards data cleansing and preparation.

00:44Data visualization is another key component of the analytics and business intelligence

00:48workflow, which we will cover in depth in separate courses.

00:52These include our Tableau Desktop for Beginners course and our Advanced Tableau Desktop course.
