00:08We bring it with us to all our job interviews.

00:11It takes three people to carry it.

00:12Yeah.

00:13You all look absolutely incredible.

00:14It's like looking at three icons sitting in front of me right now.

00:15You dressed up yourself.

00:17Well, it is a Saturday night, so I am going out after this.

00:18But anyway, listen, you are all so amazing in this.

00:19But the first thing that struck me about this film was the amount of dialogue.

00:33It's almost like a play.

00:34I mean, was that a bit scary?

00:38I mean, it was, I think, the thing that made me most excited from just first jump.

00:45When I was reading the script, to know that I was just reading Katie for a page and a

00:50half without a break, I actually, I felt liberated by getting to have that much language to play

00:59with.

01:01He was so clear with what he wanted by using that kind of language and so much of it.

01:07He also was so clear on the page of how he was planning on shooting it.

01:12It was, I feel like it was a gift.

01:14I like that.

01:15Yeah.

01:16I love a play.

01:17I was way into it.

01:18It felt like a play and I love plays.

01:19Yeah.

01:20And I was, well, scared of the play.

01:26I once passed on Glen, Gary, Glen Ross and I just, well, maybe I could remake the movie

01:33instead.

01:34But it was very exciting that it forced a challenge.

01:41You know what I mean?

01:42They always say or whatever, or most famously David Bowie on Instagram memes and clips,

01:49you know, like always be a little out of your depth and that's how you know you're doing

01:53something.

01:54Like you kind of want to jump off the cliff in the arts and it felt like this was a very

01:58safe place to do that.

02:00So yeah, full of fear pretty much all the time.

02:03And this is why you're icons, that's very inspiring because see, if I was you guys and

02:08I was as successful as you, I just wouldn't bother.

02:11I would just pick the easy jobs.

02:16Listen, what was interesting about this was in comparison to some of the other work that

02:20you guys have done, obviously there's big budgets, there's costumes, there's CGI and

02:25all this.

02:26This is so stripped back.

02:28I think you're mostly talking to Lizzie in this moment.

02:33But we hear you.

02:34Yeah, we're here for you.

02:35Well, no, I mean, you both of you, I think, get to, there are these, you create iconic

02:43images and characters that represent like an entire show by just something that you've

02:49chosen to put on your body or how you make your hair, whatever it is, and your character

02:54and your personality.

02:55Right, like these world building sort of people.

02:56Yes, and you create them and then Carrie jumps and morphs in between like any type of period

03:03piece or present day, whatever, like the nest and is always morphing and you're always

03:08like, how does her face look different in every movie that she makes?

03:11And so I do, I do think there is something to that, what you're saying.

03:16And and for us all to be able to kind of strip back in a different way.

03:24I think in this was an opportunity for all of us.

03:26And to do it together.

03:27I think that was important for you with the haircut, like everything we've talked about,

03:31how we had to do it together.

03:34Yeah, I guess though, like at least in these, it's interesting that so much of our world

03:43though has become this idea of like, you know, a set extension that we'll get to later or,

03:47you know, like a CGI this or kind of like, you know, look at the X.

03:51It's a lot of look at the X on the map box, you know, and I am guessing maybe in a way

03:57that that's part of what you mean too, is how different it is to actually be able to

04:03just really talk to the people that you're talking and shoot it on film and stuff like,

04:09which was for us, because we've all done those kinds of things, as you're saying, it's, it's

04:14extraordinary.

04:14I mean, you just realize what happened, like that was kind of a gig that I think we probably

04:20all signed up for, and then it gets so sidetracked in it.

04:24Yeah, definitely.

04:27Yeah.

04:27That was a gig we all signed up for, and then we're like, oh, but we got to, you know, balance

04:33it so that it all continues to build with opportunity.

04:37Yes, because also as a professional, it's like you don't, probably we're all have had

04:42this experience too, which is like, you never want to sort of like slow down the process

04:45by really questioning, like, hey, might it be better if we actually spoke to the real

04:51person instead of looking at the X in the map box.

04:53So you just kind of go for it because you want to be, you know, like a valedictorian,

04:58sort of like an A plus student.

05:00And but inside you're sort of dying a little because you know that it's not, it's not really

05:04right.

05:05You know what I mean?

05:06Like you're not.

05:06So I think that it was extraordinary in that sense to kind of get back to basics and be

05:12grateful for how rare, too rare it's now become.

05:16Well, it was extraordinary for me to watch it.

05:19I just felt like I was watching an acting masterclass.

05:22Like it was so raw and so incredible.

05:24Your performances.

05:26Oh my goodness.

05:27You're all so amazing.

05:28And that's like, thank you so much for this film.

05:30It's great to see three female leads as well.

05:33Yes.

05:35Yeah.
