Pope brings toys and medicine to the remote jungles of Papua New Guinea

Pope Francis is the second pope to visit Papua New Guinea, on the second-leg of his four nation trip through Southeast Asia and Oceania.

00:16He urged the faithful to work closer to home, at being good to one another, and to put an

00:22end to the tribal rivalries and violence in Papua New Guinea.

00:27The pontiff visited the small town of Vanimo on Papua New Guinea's remote north-west coast

00:32where he met with the faithful of the diocese there.

00:35Earlier, Francis delivered an open-air mass for tens of thousands in a stadium in the

00:42The visit to Papua New Guinea was part of the second leg of Francis' four-nation tour

00:47across the Asia-Pacific.

00:49The Pope will on Monday head to East Timor before wrapping up his gruelling 12-day trip
