00:00The Philippine National Police brought former Mayor Alice Guo to Capa Starlock to confront the court that issued an arrest warrant against her.
00:08Guo returned to the country from Indonesia early this morning.
00:13The update is from Patrick De Jesus. Patrick?
00:16Yes Attock Dale, we arrived here at RTC Branch 109, here in Capa Starlock, this is Mayor Alice Guo.
00:25Exactly at 9.40 a.m. earlier, Guo traveled from PNP Custodial Center to this location.
00:31A few PNP officers escorted the convoy while his lawyer, Atty. Stephen Davis, was also on the way.
00:38This is part of the process to personally confront and show that Guo was arrested in the Regional Trial Court Branch 109 of Capa Starlock
00:47that issued an arrest warrant for the Anti-Corrupt and Corrupt Sacrifices Act.
00:52There are two scenarios that can happen. First, it depends if the court will issue a commitment order to imprison him in another facility.
01:01Second, he can return to Camp Kramer to stay in the PNP Custodial Center.
01:06If he will be transferred to the custody of the Senate, it depends on the case if Guo will receive P180,000 pesos.
01:15If not, the Senate must request to confront Guo regarding the operation of Pogo in Bampantarlac and human trafficking where he was arrested.
01:27Based on the latest information we received from Atty. Stephen Davis,
01:33Atty. Guo's lawyer, for now, seems to be willing to imprison Atty. Guo, but it still depends on the court's decision.
01:46As of now, we are still waiting here in RTC Branch 109 in Capa Starlock and we are waiting for Atty. Guo's confrontation to end.
02:00Thank you very much, Patrick De Jesus.
