00:00In the case of Delhi Liquor Policy, on Thursday, Arvind Kejriwal's bail petition was filed
00:29and the Supreme Court has secured the decision.
00:33Before securing the decision, the Supreme Court heard the case of Kejriwal and the CBI.
00:39In the court, the lawyer said that Kejriwal was arrested so that he could not come out of jail, while the bail rules and jail are violations.
00:48While bailing Manish Sisodia, the court said the same.
00:52The CBI argued that Kejriwal should go to the first trial court for bail and should not come to the Supreme Court directly.
01:00If he gets bail, the High Court will be disappointed.
01:04On the petition against Kejriwal's bail and CBI's arrest, Justice Suryakant and Justice Ujjawal Bhuia's bench is being heard.
01:13Kejriwal's senior lawyer Abhishek Manu Singhvi and CBI are being represented by Additional Solicitor General ASG SV Raju.
01:22Kejriwal has been bailed out from the Supreme Court on July 12 in the case of Liquor Policy.
01:29In this case, Amadmi Party, you, party leader Sanjay Singh, Delhi's Deputy CM Manish Sisodia and Bharat Rashtra Samiti BRS have been bailed out.
01:40Five evidences of Singhvi on Kejriwal's bail.
01:44One is a unique case.
01:47Despite the strict rules of PMLA, Kejriwal was given bail twice.
01:52Why can't CBI get bail in the case?
01:56Two, CBI has argued that Kejriwal is not cooperating.
02:01It has been said in the court's order that it cannot be expected that the accused will tell himself guilty.
02:06Three, the court has to pay attention to only three questions.
02:11First, is there a risk of Kejriwal running away?
02:15Second, can he cheat with evidences?
02:19Third, can Kejriwal influence the witnesses?
02:23Four, Kejriwal is on a constitutional path.
02:26There is no chance of him running away.
02:28He cannot cheat with evidences because there are lakhs of documents and five chargesheets present.
02:33There is no risk of influencing the witnesses.
02:37Three important conditions of bail are in our favour.
02:41Five, I think CBI is not giving evidence in this case.
02:46Someone is speaking who is interested in the case.
02:50Evidences of ASG Raju on behalf of CBI.
02:54One, we have an objection on bail.
02:57Here, the debate has been mixed on bail and arrest.
03:01Two, Manish Sisodia said that Kavita had gone to the trial court for the first bail.
03:07Kejriwal adopted the shortcut like the game of Sampasiddhi.
03:11Three, Kejriwal thinks that he is an extraordinary person for whom a different system should be there.
03:18We say that the Supreme Court should not be the first court for hearing on arrest.
03:24Kejriwal should go to the trial court.
03:27Four, they are raising questions on arrest.
03:30They should read the law carefully.
03:33Arrest is only a part of the investigation.
03:36If there is the power to investigate, then there is also the power to arrest.
03:41Five, we got permission from the special court.
03:44The warrant was issued.
03:46After this, we did the arrest.
03:48When we follow the process, the copyright is not applicable.
03:52Six, CBI did not send any notice to Kejriwal
03:56that he was already in custody.
03:58Seven, if Kejriwal is given bail, then this decision will disappoint the High Court.
04:04In the Ed case, the Supreme Court had given bail to Kejriwal on July 12.
04:09In the Ed's money laundering case, the Supreme Court had given bail to Arvind Kejriwal on July 12.
04:15While giving bail, Justice Sanjeev Khanna had said that Kejriwal is in jail since 90 days,
04:21so he is instructed to be released.
04:24We know that he is an elected politician and he has to decide whether he wants to remain Chief Minister or not.
04:32Justice Khanna had said that we are transferring this case to the Big Bench.
04:37What is the policy of arrest? What is its basis?
04:41For this, we have prepared three such questions.
04:45If the Big Bench wants, it can change Kejriwal's internal bail.
04:51Ed had said Kejriwal Sargana in two supplementary charges sheets.
04:55On 9th June, Ed had submitted the 7th supplementary charges sheet in Delhi's Raoj Avenue Court.
05:01In this 208-page charges sheet, Delhi's CM Arvind Kejriwal was told about the case and the conspirator.
05:09In the charges sheet, it was said that the money received from the scam has been spent on the Aam Aadmi Party.
05:15It was also claimed that Kejriwal had asked for a bribe of Rs 100 crore from South Group members for selling alcohol,
05:23out of which Rs 45 crore was spent on the Goa election.
05:27Delhi's Raoj Avenue Court has extended the judicial custody of CM Arvind Kejriwal to 11 September in the CBI case related to the alcohol policy.
05:36The court also took notice of the CBI's supplementary charges sheet and released Kejriwal.
05:43The CBI had issued a supplementary charges sheet against Arvind Kejriwal, Durgesh Pathak, Vinod Chauhan, Ashish Mathur and Sarath Reddy.
05:52The court has given time till 11 September to answer the accused.
