00:00It was just a Monday. I've noticed on my phone that something had happened. Heard that there'd

00:19been a possible bomb or something. But I didn't, I wasn't worried because I didn't think I

00:26knew anyone there so I didn't really worry about it. I just looked at my phone before I went to

00:32sleep and it was a screenshot of one of his friends tweet saying like we can't find Martin.

00:38So then I kind of panicked. That's when I realised he was there.

00:4522 people have died and 59 are injured after a suicide bombing at the end of Ariana Grande's

00:52gig at Manchester Arena. It kind of hit home that this is this is happening to us. Like we're not

00:58just watching the news, this is our brother. This is happening to our brother. Across the region

01:06families are still awaiting news of their loved ones. Among them 29 year old Martin Hett from

01:12Stockport. His family has been unable to contact him since the concert. The Etihad Stadium was set

01:20up as a makeshift emergency centre. Manchester City's football stadium that has become a focal

01:24point for those who haven't heard from their relatives or loved ones. Within like 10 minutes

01:30of us arriving the coroner got up and spoke to everyone and basically said like there's 13 bodies

01:39that are unconfirmed, that are unidentified. And looking around the room it's quite clear

01:47that there's about 13 families. So at that stage you kind of... It was it was just like the noise

01:55of 13 families in absolute bits. Like grown men sobbing. It was it was really horrible. That was

02:05like... I think that's when you know. We all knew then. I think. It's like the last time I spoke to him.

02:19It was like a leaving do party because he was going to America for two months. Like on the 24th.

02:30So it's weird that we've all kind of said goodbye. Sometimes you just want to cry on your own.

02:46escape it sometimes or feel how you want to feel about it. We had the teddy bears made out of

02:53Martin's shirts. You kind of naturally do say like missing you Martin when you're in bed or

03:02it kind of just comes out. So it's... If you've got something to talk to I guess it feels a bit

03:10more normal. It feels unfair that it's happened to him and to all of us. Like we're... To everyone

03:16that it's happened to. Not just our family. Just all of the people were just so innocent.

03:25Like I don't know. It's unfair. It's really unfair. My life's completely different.

03:33And I do get upset about all the other families because

03:36no one's doing what they wanted to do anymore. You just can't.
