गणेश उत्सव के दौरान वाराणसी में गणपति भक्ति की विशेष धूम है। वाराणसी के अस्सी घाट पर रहने वाले एक ऐसे गणेश भक्त विजय भगवान गणेश की चित्रों को आंख बंद करके हूबहू बनाते हैं और 51 घंटे लगातार पेंटिंग बनाने का लिम्का बुक ऑफ रिकॉर्ड में नाम दर्ज करवा चुके हैं। जो कि अभी तक कोई तोड़ नहीं पाया है भगवान गणपति उनकी आत्मा में बसे हुए हैं। अब तक वे 5 लाख से अधिक गणेश पेंटिंग बना चुके हैं। विजय ने आंखों पर पट्टी बांधकर भी गणेश की अलग-अलग प्रतिमाएं बनाई हैं, जो लोगों का ध्यान आकर्षित कर रही हैं।
