00:00British snooker player Matthew Celt exited the lucrative Saudi Arabia snooker masters
00:11on Tuesday after rage-quitting during his fourth-round match against China's Pang Junshu.
00:17Celt, who is ranked 33rd in the world and had beaten Alan Taylor in the previous round,
00:23was down 4-3 against Pang in their best-of-nine contest.
00:27Pang was up 10 points to 1 in the 8th frame,
00:30but Celt was at the table and had just potted an opening red.
00:35That pot left Celt a shot on the black, but he was hampered slightly
00:39as the cue ball had landed close to a cluster of reds.
00:43The 39-year-old was still expected to sink the black though, but it stayed in the jaws
00:48of the pocket before he reacted furiously by slapping a loose red across the table.
00:54This act meant that Celt had to forfeit the frame and therefore the match.
00:59Celt was well aware of this as he immediately turned to his opponent and offered him a
01:04handshake. By quitting against Pang, Celt forfeited his shot at the tournament's 500,000 top prize.
