00:45Now, the number one reason to consider upgrading is battery life.

00:58Apple is placing a significant focus on battery life and better thermal management this year,

01:37The higher density battery will emit more heat, which is why Apple is rumored to be

01:41using a stainless steel case that wraps around the battery for improved thermal management.

01:48Also this year, Apple is using graphene sheets instead of graphite pads to reduce overheating.

01:54So we can expect the iPhone 16 Pro to see a massive 9.28% increase in battery size,

02:01while the iPhone 16 Pro Max will see a 5.7% increase.

02:07Now keep in mind that this is just an increase in battery size, not necessarily the actual

03:41Some leaks suggest that this will be a solid-state button located on the bottom right side, replacing

03:47the millimeter-wave antenna on the US models.

03:51However, the information has reported that the surface of the capture button will be

03:56touch-sensitive.

03:57Allegedly, iPhone 16 users will be able to swipe left and right on the capture button's

04:03surface to zoom in and out.

04:06The information also says that users will be able to bring images into focus by pressing

04:11lightly on the button and activate the shutter by pressing more firmly.

06:08It's great outdoors, and it looks like Apple could be using these same display panels inside

07:06According to this confirmed leak, Apple is going to upgrade the current peak charging

07:10rate of the Pro iPhones from 27 watts up to 40 watts, which is a huge jump year over year.

07:17With MagSafe, the charging speed is also increasing significantly, from 15 watts up to 20 watts.

07:25The fact that Apple seems to be making some massive step changes to battery life, or at

07:29least setting up the foundation for significantly longer battery life into the future, is just

07:35the best news for iPhone batteries that we've gotten, well, ever.

07:39Apple has never changed the construction to this metal casing before, and I think it's

07:44going to be a massive deal.

07:46This will definitely save you a ton of time, especially if you charge your phone while

07:50taking a shower or getting ready.

07:53Now, even in that short period of time, your iPhone will pack enough juice to hopefully

07:58last throughout the day.

08:00And finally, reason number five, the new 48 megapixel ultra-wide camera.

08:07This year, Apple has a huge focus on camera systems, which is why we're seeing many improvements

08:13across the board.

08:15To support a better and higher quality camera system, you need bigger batteries, better

08:19cooling systems, extra storage, which, by the way, is also getting a big upgrade this

08:25year to 2 terabytes, and of course, better and bigger displays to view all that high

08:30quality content you captured.

08:33Both the iPhone 16 Pro models will get a 48 megapixel ultra-wide camera, but the iPhone

08:4016 Pro Max will alone get a larger main camera sensor based on a custom 48 megapixel Sony

08:46900n3 sensor.

08:49The new sensor is expected to use a stacked design for better performance and digital

08:53gain control for improved dynamic range and noise control.

08:58The smaller iPhone 16 Pro's main camera is expected to use the same 48 megapixel Sony

09:05800n3 sensor that Apple added to the iPhone 15 Pro models.

09:11Both the iPhone 16 Pro and the iPhone 16 Pro Max are expected to get tetraprism telephoto

09:17lenses in 2024, instead of this technology being limited to the larger Pro Max.

09:24This means both iPhone 16 Pro models will feature at least 5x optical zoom and at least

09:3025x digital zoom.

09:33This is a confirmed leak that we've seen many times.

09:37Forget about that 100x zoom, because that's not happening this year, maybe next year with

09:42the iPhone 17.

09:44But for this year, both the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max models are getting periscope zoom

09:50lenses that will have an optical zoom of up to 5x, with 25x digital zoom also included.

09:57The iPhone 16 Pro cameras could also feature a new anti-reflective optical coating that

10:03would improve photos by reducing lens flare and gausting.
