00:06In 2022, NASA announced that the International Space Station will stay in operation until 2030.

00:12After that, it will be decommissioned and taken out of orbit. To do this, SpaceX will build a

00:18new vehicle and it will be used to bring the 430 ton space station out of orbit. By the end of 2030,

00:25SpaceX will launch this new spacecraft. Once in position, the spacecraft will pull the

00:30International Space Station into Earth's atmosphere, where both will burn up before

00:35the remains crash into the Pacific Ocean in 2031.
