00:00Through kilometer zero immediately, it's UAE Team Emirates trying to cause this breakaway.

00:09It's doing the damage at the back of the peloton, at the front, nothing's able to relent.

00:22Plenty of riders and teams wanted to try and get themselves into the breakaway.

00:28Well this is a bit of a sneaky move from Wout van Aert, he extends his lead, he doesn't

00:31want any passengers, he wants to take things into his own hands.

00:39When I end up in a situation like this, I always have a chance and it's a very cool

00:46victory.

00:47Quentin Pochere is going to hold the right hand side of the road, but immediately with

00:52the big acceleration it's Wout van Aert who comes into Bayona.

00:55And Wout van Aert is going to make it three victories in this year's Vuelta a España.

01:10Well today's stage, it's been a very, very active start.

01:14This is one of the most open Grand Tours we've seen.

01:18Teams really having to think strategically, how can they beat everybody?

02:04that takes its toll, but mentally it took its toll on me as well, you know.

02:14the sport just because of the crashes and the injuries I've had and I have an incredible

02:18group of family and friends in the team.

02:20They back me so much as well and yeah, it's been a long time coming, but just to repay

02:25all of them today, it means a lot.

02:39Looks like that breakaway might be the breakaway of the day.
