00:00We all know Captain Vikram Bhadra as that brave who captured point 5140 and his famous
00:08line Yeh Dil Mange More.
00:10We also know him as the man who led that reserve company assault into point 4875 recapturing
00:17that post from the enemy as the Pakistanis mounted a swift counter attack.
00:23But for his younger brother or his twin brother Vishal Bhadra this place is pilgrimage not
00:30just the war memorial but the point where Vikram Bhadra fought at 5140 and the 25th
00:38year of India's victory over Pakistan and the 50th year of Vikram Bhadra's birth Vishal
00:46Bhadra walked to point 5140.
00:49I spoke to him to ask him why he did this, listen in.
00:55What made you climb?
00:56Vishal first welcome on India Today.
00:57Thank you so much Gaurav, thank you so much.
00:59What made you climb point 5140 and it's a very very high peak there very difficult to
01:05climb.
01:06So Gaurav to be honest you know me and Vikram both would be turning 50 this year right which
01:12is on 9th of September though Vikram is going to be 25 year old only because we lost him
01:17when he was 25.
01:18You know I have a lot of grey hair.
01:20So I had a dream of visiting both the peaks the 5140 and the 4875 and 5140 was a dream
01:26because I wanted to pay a tribute on the 50th birth anniversary.
01:30You know while we lost him 25 years back for me he personally continues to live on right
01:35and that's the reason I chose and I requested the Indian army that I want to do a expedition
01:39to 5140 and I want to do on the foot and fortunately this year 18th of July was the day when I
01:45actually took a plunge and thanks to the present Chief General Diveri to whom I had
01:49placed a request in the month of November.
01:52Thanks to the GOC 8th Mountative General Malik you know who helped me organizing this and
01:56then of course Brigadier Sanjeev Kohli the artillery brigade commander you know along
02:02with his entire brigade I got this chance to climb this on 18th of July.
