Jaishankar says, "Today, we are witnessing a significant milestone in international education in India with the issuance of the letter of intent to the University of Southampton, one of the top 100 universities in the world, as it prepares to establish its first campus in India. This event also highlights the strong and multifaceted bilateral ties between India and the United Kingdom, with education being a particularly important pillar of this relationship"

00:14University of Southampton, one of the top hundred universities of the world, and

00:20it's issued as they prepare to establish their first campus in India. Today's

00:28event is also a testament to the strong and multifaceted bilateral ties between

00:35India and the United Kingdom of which education is a particularly important

00:42pillar. At the heart of this progress lies the National Education Policy 2020

00:51NEP 2020 which the earlier speakers have talked about. It is a policy which

00:58champions internationalization and aims to position India as a global player in

01:05education.
