00:00I feel like this movie doesn't exist without Jennifer's body and I was curious for you,
00:04Diablo, if there's something that you learned on that project that you really feel like you
00:09brought or learned from that you brought to this script specifically.
00:13Well, you know, I love that movie and so for me, you know, I knew that I wanted to capture
00:20some of the tone of that movie in this one. However, the one thing that I've gained over
00:25the last few years is confidence because when that movie came out, it shattered my confidence.
00:30And so I thought, oh, I don't really have any business writing in this genre because people
00:33didn't love it the way I wanted them to. And then when they started to love it, that was when I said,
00:38oh, like, I'm going to do this again. And I did it with this really renewed appreciation for the
00:44fact that I get to do this job. Like, I don't think I was as appreciative going into Jennifer's body,
00:50but now knowing how difficult this business can be and being older and wiser, I'm like,
00:54gosh, this is such a gift.
