00:00From transportation, manpower, and security, the Armed Forces of the Philippines is always there to assist in serving the GMA Kapusu Foundation.
00:16Because the AFP and Kapusu Foundation have been working together for a long time, they entrusted us with a large amount of donations to help our fellow Filipinos.
00:31When the typhoon Karina and Habagat hit last month, they were one of the bodyguards to help our fellow Filipinos, the Armed Forces of the Philippines.
00:46But this is not the end of their help.
00:50Because they donated P4 million to the GMA Kapusu Foundation as help to those who were affected by the typhoon Karina and Habagat.
01:01The donation came from the subsistence allowance of our fellow Filipinos.
01:07From a 150-mil allowance per day, they voluntarily distributed P50.
01:18Half of the proceeds will go directly to the families of the soldiers affected by the typhoon and Habagat.
01:26And the other half of P4 million, they distributed to the Kapusu Foundation.
01:32The GMA Kapusu Foundation and the Armed Forces are always partners.
01:36Not only in distributing relief goods or rescuing the victims of these calamities,
01:44but we are also donating money from the hearts of our soldiers.
01:51The donation was turned over by AFP Chief of Staff General Romeo S. Browner
01:56and it was accepted by GMA Kapusu Foundation EVP and COO Ricky Escudero Catibo.
02:03You can hope that those affected by the typhoon Karina will receive the aid you gave via developmental infrastructure projects.
02:14In the affected areas, which is in NCR, we will look for a more populated area that is not too high.
02:27We will build a school there.
