00:41After the eviction of the former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina,

00:53have become easy targets.

00:55In this neighborhood with a Muslim majority, outside Dhaka,

01:04I am afraid to enter this building and I am afraid for my safety.

01:12What will they do to me?

01:14When the students return, they will be traumatized.

01:18At least 200 attacks of this kind against religious minorities have been reported by local NGOs.

01:24But the inhabitants claim that the lack of police in the streets

01:27has given way to a return of violence across Bangladesh.

01:30In the whole country, communities have formed self-defense groups

01:34to patrol their neighborhoods all night.

01:37In the old Dhaka neighborhood, these men of Hindu confession have just started their rounds.

01:46That is why we do our best to protect this neighborhood and this temple.

01:50But I know that these attacks are not aimed at a particular community, Hindu or Muslim.

02:03Mohammad Yunus, the head of the interim government, visited a Hindu temple in Dhaka.

02:08He urged the Bangladeshis to put aside their religious differences and to stay united.
