00:00Members of the Alliance of Concerned Teachers protested in front of the Department of Education to call for the trash to be the standard curriculum.

00:11Good salary, good job. Standard curriculum, trash.

00:19The teachers and teaching staff were there when the protest started after their class.

00:25They said that the standard curriculum should be given priority.

00:27Before, they teach 4 to 6 classes a day. Now, they teach 7 to 8 classes a day.

00:35DepEd launched last year a standard curriculum that, aside from basic education, will also teach values and life skills.
