03:54But one day, a lady who didn't want Prince Rama to become king

04:03and convinced him to send Prince Rama to a forest for 14 years.

04:10Poor Rama left his palace and lived a tough life in the forest.

04:16But he never stopped being gentle, kind and good.

04:21After 14 years, when Prince Rama returned to his kingdom,

04:26the people were very happy.

04:29They lit up their homes with lamps,

04:32decorated their front doors,

04:34and welcomed him with joy to their homes.

04:39This is how the festival of Diwali started.

04:47So, Diwali is all about defeating the bad thoughts inside of us
