00:00Now we will talk about Syria. Syria is an Islamic state, but it has been drowned in the blood of innocent children.

00:06Syria means Syria. This is the state about which our beloved Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. had said,

00:12If there is peace in Syria, it is a good news for the Muslims.

00:20And if the situation in Syria is bad, then understand that this will be one of the signs of the coming of the Day of Judgment.

00:25Because in Syria, hundreds of thousands of Muslims are killed,

00:28corpses are found on the beaches of innocent children,

00:30women sell their bodies for a few pieces of bread,

00:33and so-called Islamic contractors, Saudi Arabian fashion shows, and Arab states are busy building temples.

00:39These are all signs of the coming of the Day of Judgment.

00:41Friends, Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. had said,

00:44The Day of Judgment will not be established until the Muslims meet the polytheists,

00:48and until the people of my Ummah worship the idols.

00:52And all this is happening not only in Arabia, but all over the world.

00:55Friends, Syria is a small Islamic country in Western Asia,

00:58whose full and official name is Al-Jumuriyat Al-Arabiyat Al-Suriya.

01:02It is also called Syria in English.

01:04In its east, Iraq, in the west, the Bahr e Rum,

01:07in the north, Turkey, in the south, Jordan,

01:10in the south-west, Israel, Lebanon, and the borders of Palestine.

01:14Friends, the total area of Syria is 185,180 square kilometers,

01:19which is ranked 89th in the world in terms of population.

01:23Friends, Syria has a population of 2,43,57,907.

01:29And in terms of population, it is ranked 60th in the world.

01:32The capital of this country is Damascus, and it is the largest city in Syria.

01:36Damascus is also honored to be the oldest city in the world.

01:40On the land of Syria, there are many marital sanctuaries,

01:43shrines of the House of the Prophet and the Love of the Prophet.

01:46There is also the fast of Hazrat Habib A.S. in the valley of the Daraa near the city of Damascus.

01:51Syria is located at a distance of 2,873 kilometers from Pakistan.

01:55The currency of Syria is called Syrian Pound.

01:58Most of the people of Syria live in the desert,

02:01the coast of the sea, and the middle of the mountains.

02:05The population density of the people here is 99 people per square kilometer.

02:13about 1.8 million people lived in the country,

02:16most of whom were Palestinian and northern people.

02:22Syria was the largest land of human settlements.

02:26But during the 2011 war, more than 90 million people were homeless.

02:31The most Arab people live in Syria,

02:33while the second largest ethnic group is Kurdish,

02:36which accounts for 9-10% of the total population.

02:38In addition, people of Albanian, Bosnian, Georgian, Greek and Armenian descent also live here.

02:44Syria is the largest Armenian-populated country in the world.
