'I wish Paris could stay that way': Residents experience post-Olympic blues

After more than fifteen days of Olympic festivities in Paris, some hope the heritage of the games, like the heightened sense of security and good mood, will remain in the French capital.

00:26the influx of visitors applaud the smooth running of the games.

00:56Some tourists even claim the Olympics have inspired them to move to Paris.

01:06In fact, I think there is one neighborhood where my partner was saying that they were

01:11wanting to see if there were any properties here. It was so nice. But yeah, it's been

01:18But like this German newspaper asks, what remains now that the games are over? The owner

01:24of this newsstand told us he hopes the heightened security and pleasant atmosphere will remain

01:29in the capital. The day after the greatest show on earth, a business owner even described

01:35it to me as France slowly waking up from what he says is a post-Olympic hangover, now having
