00:04The PNP is investigating the possibility that a police officer and another injured person were involved in a friendly fire and that there was an operation against the kidnappers in Pampanga.

00:17It is clear from the first impression that there was an armed encounter between the operatives and the kidnappers.

00:23The PNP chief promises that he will answer if it is proven that the gun was fired from their hands.

00:36Members of the PNP Anti-Kidnapping Group entered this house in Angeles City, Pampanga this Saturday,

00:42where it is said that their victims were brought by the alleged kidnappers.

00:49A video was cut when a gunshot was heard.

00:54The two Chinese nationals who were kidnapped were shot and their Chinese colleagues were arrested who tried to help them.

01:02But one of the operatives, Police Senior Staff Sergeant Nelson Santiago, and Police Chief Master Sergeant Eden Akad were able to escape.

01:12According to the report of the PNP Anti-Kidnapping Group, there was an armed encounter between the operatives and the kidnappers.

01:22But the story does not end here because an investigation is being conducted on what happened.

01:27Whether this is a result of a friendly fire or the gunshot was fired by the suspects, that will be part of the investigation.

01:32Friendly fire is called a gunshot that came from both sides of the victim.

01:37PNP Chief Romel Francisco Barbil escaped from the hands of the police who gave him a medal.
