01:16Such intelligent systems are called Ambient Intelligence.
01:21Ambient Intelligence or AMI refers to a system that understands
01:26an individual person's needs, preferences, actions, emotions
01:31and responds accordingly to create most suitable personalized ambience
01:36without any direct intervention by the individual.
01:39Such system can work in our living room, kitchen, workplaces, retail stores,
01:45cars, hotels and even hospitals.
01:49The global AMI market was valued at US$1.27 billion in 2022
01:56and is expected to grow rapidly at CAGR of 13.2% according to reports and data.
02:05Despite expected overall growth, the AMI market is expected to grow unevenly in different countries.
02:12Largely the growth will be fueled by the demand for remote monitoring and automation
02:18in healthcare, manufacturing, logistics
02:21coupled with the expanding adoption of smart homes and investments
02:26in smart city infrastructure by government and businesses.
