02:35Rioting has seized the UK after a stabbing at a dance class last week that left three

02:40girls dead.

02:44Wildfires are scorching Albania and Croatia as blistering heat grips the continent.

02:51Albanian firefighters could be seen battling flames in villages near the capital city of

02:55Tirana.

02:57Over 300 firefighters and military personnel were supported by a helicopter to control

03:02fires in the country's central eastern region.

03:06Hundreds of hectares of forests have already gone up in flames.

03:10Police have arrested at least five people for setting fires and called on hunters to

03:14be careful as the country battles a heatwave.

03:18High temperatures, winds and weeks of drought have accelerated the spread of wildfires in

03:23Albania and other Balkan countries like Croatia, forcing local residents to evacuate.

03:56began with students calling for an end to a quota system for government jobs.

04:07As the violence raged, the Prime Minister said the protestors were engaging in sabotage

04:12and no longer students but criminals, adding that they would be dealt with with iron hands.

04:21Yemen's Houthi rebels released footage that they claim shows the wreckage of an American

04:26drone they downed.

04:29Since Yemen's civil war started in 2014 when the Houthis seized most of the country's north

04:35and its capital, the US has lost multiple drones to the rebels.

04:40MQ-9 drones, known as Reapers, are unmanned aerial vehicles which can be remotely controlled

04:49and cost around $30 million a piece.

04:54Disruption and delay has hit Qatania International Airport in Sicily following the overnight

05:03Some flights to and from the island have been cancelled and others diverted as the smoke

10:09this year compared to last, accompanied by a significant surge in ozone levels this week.

10:16With heatwaves currently sweeping across Europe, heathlands in Denmark, the Netherlands, Germany

10:21and Britain serve as essential pit stops for these birds.

10:25This year's heatwave has led to a concerning 15% decline in some bird populations.

10:35If that bird, you know, having made the journey from sub-Saharan Africa, encounters conditions

10:43that are not optimal when it arrives, you know, will we see those again?

11:25As climate change continues to impact these regions, preserving these critical resting areas

11:31and the biodiversity they support remains a key focus for conservationists across Europe.
