00:00The importance of international law was discussed for the long-term peace in the region
00:05in the bilateral meeting of National Defense Secretary Gilbert Chodoro and German Defense Minister Boris Kristorius.

00:18Chodoro was asked by the German media what is the root of the tension in the West Philippine Sea.
00:25Chodoro replied that it is due to the actions of China in the West Philippine Sea against the international order.
00:31He also said that the Philippines is not invading China, but its duty is to defend the territory.
00:37The relationship between the armed forces of the two countries was also discussed for the long term.
00:42The first thing the two countries will focus on is education and training of their people,

00:52Chodoro hopes that the ships of Germany that will be visited by the country will sail in the next few months in maritime activities.
