UN ने आधिकारिक रूप से फ्रेंडशिप डे की तारीख 30 जुलाई तय की हुई है, लेकिन भारत समेत तमाम देशों में International Friendship Day हर साल अगस्‍त के महीने के पहले रविवार को मनाया जाता है.

UN has officially fixed the date of Friendship Day as 30th July, but in many countries including India, International Friendship Day is celebrated every year on the first Sunday of the month of August.
