Nearly 11 months into the war, Palestinians in Gaza are still struggling to get proper access to food and clean water amid Israel’s ongoing war against Hamas, which has restricted the entry of much needed aid.

00:07The war restricts entry of much needed aid and families have been forced to rely on makeshift charity kitchens to survive.

00:14They must line up for hours in excruciating heat to get their main meal of the day.

00:19It is very difficult to live here. We come to the kitchens to stay for 4-5 hours a day.

00:27It is like the sun. Sometimes we get enough food and sometimes we don't.

00:33I have to get food and water from the kitchens on a daily basis.
