00:00And the 100 in terms of cricket, you know, they've seemed to have sort of adjusted their
00:08target audience.
00:09I mean, you see so many more young people in attendance.
00:12How much have you seen of that in terms of the 100 and sort of attracting these younger
00:16generations to maybe go on and try and get involved in cricket themselves?
00:20Yeah, he's definitely looked to target the younger generation and inspire that next generation
00:26of cricketers, both in the men's and the women's game.
00:29So from being around at the grounds and playing, there's definitely that interest there.
00:35And I used to coach in schools as well.
00:38So I think just allowing access to cricket once they play, the kids tend to love it.
00:45So it's a great initiative.
00:46I think from that point of view, the 100 really nails it.
00:50You just have to go to the stadiums and see the amount of families and the amount of kids
00:55that are there after the game waiting for your autograph.
00:58Yeah, so the amount of kids and family that you see at the games is really amazing.
01:04It kind of sets it up for the next generation just to keep cricket going.
01:09And also the different types of cultures and the diversity you also see at the games is great.
01:16Especially at the beginning of the 100, we always get a brief about making sure we protect
01:21the product.
01:22And I think protecting the product for the next generation is really important because
01:27you get to see so many of them at the games.
01:30So my name is Mohamed Arif.
01:31I'm the Dynamo's Cricket Intros Ambassador.
01:34I work for Warwickshire Cricket Board.
01:36And I'm here today to support the KP Snacks event, which is everyone in.
01:41We have a very big drive from a Warwickshire point of view to grow the game and develop
01:45the game.
01:46And that is everybody.
01:48So opportunities like today are amazing.
01:51So that gives families a great opportunity.
01:55And the KP investment really will help that.
01:58And we're hopefully going to have lots of fun today with families that have come with
02:03their siblings, their mums, their dads, their uncles, their aunts.
02:06I mean, yeah, I'm from Birmingham myself and looking around the area, there aren't many
02:11cricket pitches in the parks and, yeah, initiatives like this definitely get more kids out there
02:16and playing the game.
02:17So it's a brilliant thing to be doing.
02:19I think it's fantastic to have non-tour facilities like this and, I guess, community spaces.
02:24I think everyone obviously wants to be getting nice, fit and healthy and active.
02:27And what better way to do that than coming down to your local park?
02:29So awesome opportunity to engage with the local community.
02:33The first thing I would say is that the 100 is aimed at a new crowd, giving the opportunities
02:40for boys and girls to enjoy their cricket.
02:44And what the 100 does is brings everything to life.
02:47At the end of the day, we just want more people being engaged with the game of cricket, whatever
02:50that looks like.
02:51And the 100's obviously been a massive driver.
02:53Initiatives like this are fantastic and hopefully we're reaching a different audience as well.
