00:00Hi kids! Today we will learn what are antonyms. So let's start.

00:09Antonym is a word that has opposite meaning to another word.

00:16For example, cold and hot have opposite meanings, so they are antonyms.

00:25Let's have a look at some more examples.

00:29This is the picture of a large ball. We also have the picture of small ball.

00:38So large and small are antonyms as they have opposite meanings.

00:45Soft and hard are opposite to each other, so they are antonyms.

00:53Rough and smooth, clean and dirty, tall, short, fat, thin, fair, dark.

01:06All these are examples of antonyms.

01:22Close, asleep, awake, absent, present.

01:36Here we have two pictures. Let's find differences in the two pictures that make antonyms.
