Once there lived a cute little girl, Annie.

She had a beautiful garden in her home.

It was her favorite place.

It was here that she loved to spend time with plants, birds, and little insects.

She would spend hours talking to them.

Nature was her best friend indeed.

All the time she was playing and singing in the lap of nature.

One day she was playing in her garden and humming her favorite tune, la la la la.

Suddenly she heard the chirping of birds.

She turned round and there was a wonderful sight, a bird feeding her two little chicks.

Suddenly there was a thud and a shriek.

One of the little chicks fell down from the nest.

Oh my god, cried the little girl and ran to save the bird.

Luckily the chick had fallen on a flower plant and so wasn't hurt.

Annie heaved a sigh of relief.

She picked up the cute little chick most tenderly and placed it back in the nest.

The chirping of the birds started again.

Mother bird looked relieved and started feeding her cute little chicks again.
