00:08I know you're really busy.
00:10We meet here around this table in the shadow of a horrific attack in Southport on young girls.
00:19And I think our first thoughts are obviously with the victims, their families,
00:25the wider community who are in raw pain and grief.
00:30And I know that they and other people want answers, and I'm determined that we will provide answers.
00:37But shockingly, what we've also seen is marauding mobs on the streets of Southport
00:44attacking the very same police officers who responded to the awful attack on those girls.
00:53This government supports the police. It supports what you are doing.
00:59And to be absolutely clear, this is not protest.
01:04This is violent disorder, and action needs to be taken.
