04:49The answer actually is something that is called density

04:52Everything is made out of tiny particles

04:55That we can't see

04:57A plastic spoon and a metal spoon have the same shape and size

05:02But the particles in the metal spoon are closer to each other

05:06Water has density also

05:08The density of metal is more than the density of water

05:11So it sinks

05:12The density of plastic is less than the density of water

05:16So the plastic spoon floats
