00:38Nervous. I have been dressing alternative pretty much my entire life. The all-black
00:44monster look started to happen more when I got out of high school. My husband and
00:50I were high school sweethearts. Your darkness is getting darker. I don't know

01:01When I think of a Barbie look, I think of pink. This is gonna be a big change. It's
01:06gonna be a huge change. I'm not gonna be Nicole. I feel like I have finally gotten
01:11into a place where I'm so comfortable and I've embraced myself and I feel like
01:17I kind of have to like take everything that I know and take it back a bit and
01:22that's hard for me because I don't like my face. Not like this. I haven't seen you
01:27without a tattoo since a few days after your 18th birthday, I think. It's been so
01:32long since I've seen like my actual skin without ink so that's gonna be weird. So

01:53you excited? I'm nervous. Let's get to it. All right. We're going for a Barbie
01:59inspired glam look. A pink shadow, glossy lip, pink dewy skin. That dewy skin is
02:07gonna be really key versus the white that she currently has. Okay, Nicole.
02:15Okay, the outfit that we have today is very Barbie core. The two-piece tweed
02:22pink set with the vinyl square heels. Oh my god, yeah. I am gonna die in those
02:29shoes, let me tell you. I never wear open-toed shoes ever. Um, well this will
02:35be fun. This is going to melt everything off. What made you feel like you wanted
02:41to go through with this transformation? A part of me has always been curious what
02:46I would look like if I didn't dress this way. When going out to places that this
02:51type of aesthetic and look isn't really like accepted in society, I don't think I
02:56tone it down. I think I tone up. I do get the people that are like intimidated and
03:00they just stare. I also get people that will make fun of me but for the most
03:04part there's a lot of nice people out there. Like they'll want to take pictures
03:07with me or they want to tell me how cool I am. I'm excited to see like what my
03:12family and my friends will think.
03:21Tell me about your look. What is your go-to everyday wear? There are some days I
03:28will go full-blown monster look. Other days I like to keep it kind of like an
03:32elegant goth look. You have lovely bone structure so it's been really easy to
03:39glam you. When I do my makeup it's like it's pretty packed on. There's a lot of
03:43it so I think for something so light to be on my face is gonna be such a
03:48huge change. I think I look beautiful with all this makeup on so to see myself
03:53with probably just simple mascara and foundation, it's gonna be weird to see my
03:59face like that. I'm gonna think I look ugly. Okay Nicole your makeup's done

04:52insecure about my face. I'd never expected me to look beautiful like this.

05:15I'm so used to her with tattoos so it's gonna be really weird. I feel like she's
05:18gonna look how I remember her when I was like a child and she was like a
05:22teenager. I'm trying to keep all expectations open and be completely
05:25surprised. I haven't seen her without tattoos since she was growing up so this
05:31is gonna be a big change. They are not prepared. All right y'all ain't ready for
05:38this. No. Hi. Barbie in the house. Oh my god. Looks like the little girl growing up.
05:55So she was high school. It is a really good job covering your tattoo. She did a
06:00really wonderful job to be honest. I was impressed. Does this make you want to get
06:04rid of any of your tattoos? Oh no. If anything I'm like I had a more hot
06:09hand. I was starting blank again. Never seen you wear heels like that either.
06:14But they're square. They're thick squares so I can walk in them. This is about a
06:23decade like gone in an instant. It's absolutely insane of it's because you
06:29haven't been like this. A long time. A long time. The hair went first then the
06:34tattoos came. Well I think she looks gorgeous like she did growing up. I
06:40literally wouldn't recognize you if you were on the street. It's very interesting
06:47seeing like the pearl necklace. I don't know why that little tiny detail is
06:51actually kind of really cool. I think you look better in the goth to be honest.

07:08love you. Wow. The truth comes out. My family's reaction was not at all what I
07:21thought it was gonna be. I didn't expect them to laugh. Like I knew they were
07:26gonna be shocked but I guess I didn't think so much to the point where they
07:29were gonna start laughing. If I learned anything from this experience I think it
07:35would be that I can definitely look beautiful in two different looks. If I
07:42ever were to grow out of the alternative look that I currently have I think that
07:47I would be fully capable of rocking this look. To be like Barbie for the day
07:52I feel like royalty. I feel like a star.
