00:00Hello and welcome to what's on in Wigan this week. On Friday 2nd August the Brick Community

00:08Stadium will be opening its doors to raise awareness of the number of people in the borough

00:13experiencing poverty and homelessness and to raise vital funds for the Brick Charity.

00:19Swap your bed for a sleeping bag with the night promising to be full of entertainment

00:23and fun. It starts at 7pm on the Friday and tickets are available online.

00:31Standard Social Club is hosting a charity family fun day in aid of the Little Princess

00:35Trust in Alder Hey on August 3rd. It's described as a fun day for all the family with a fancy

00:41dress welcome and a prize for the best dressed as well as entertainment, raffles and more.

00:46It runs from 12pm until 3pm.

00:49And Dinosaurs are set to take over Wigan's Grand Arcade Shopping Centre on August 2nd

00:54and August 3rd where there will be a number of free live action events as well as craft

01:00workshops.

01:02And finally experience an unforgettable evening with the esteemed Wigan Warriors legends including

01:07the renowned Sean Wayne as people gather to honour the memory of John Duffy and support

01:13NNDA self lengths at the Brick Community Stadium on August 3rd. Tickets are available online.
