00:00Hazrat Sayyidina Imam Zain-ul-Abideen
00:05When a man came to him, he said,
00:07Huzoor, I am hungry, I want food.
00:10So Imam Zain-ul-Abideen started crying in a loud voice.
00:14He had to cry. He cried with pain.
00:17Then he went home.
00:19He packed food in a bag and brought it.
00:21He brought it and put it next to the wall.
00:24He called him and said,
00:25Huzoor, I have kept food next to this wall.
00:30Your son said,
00:32Huzoor, I don't understand your crying.
00:34People ask questions.
00:36And what was the harm in giving him what you had kept next to the wall?
00:40So Imam Zain-ul-Abideen said,
00:41Huzoor, I cried because he was hungry and I didn't know.
00:46I don't know how hungry he was that he had to say that.
00:49He had pain that God will question him.
00:52He said,
00:53Huzoor, I am hungry and I didn't know.
00:56I cried because I should have known.
00:58And I have kept food next to the wall
01:01because the one who takes is always smaller than the one who gives.
01:08The one who takes is below and the one who gives is above.
01:12Imam Zain-ul-Abideen said,
01:13Huzoor, I don't believe that a believer's hand comes below my hand.
01:18All these people have hands.
01:20I don't hold anyone's hand.
01:22Why should I bow my eyes to anyone?
01:24Why should I do this to someone so that his eyes bow down in front of me?
01:28He has given me and he is thankful.
