From hilarious movie parodies to sharp takes on superhero culture, these moments are sure to have you laughing out loud. Don’t forget to let us know in the comments which spoof cracked you up the most!
10. "Dawn of the Seven"
A clear parody of the superhero ensemble films like "Justice League" and "The Avengers," this film within a show captures the clichés and drama of team-up movies, right down to the overly dramatic title.
9. Vought Cinematic Universe
A brilliant take on the MCU, Vought’s cinematic universe is filled with corporate synergy, endless sequels, and interconnected storylines, poking fun at how superhero franchises dominate the box office.
8. "Training A-Train"
This spoof mirrors the high-energy, motivational sports documentaries, focusing on A-Train’s intense and often humorous training regimens, highlighting the absurdity of a speedster’s daily routine.
7. “The Deep’s Talk Show”
A parody of celebrity talk shows, The Deep’s attempts to clean up his image by hosting his own show is both cringe-worthy and hilarious, reflecting the real-life antics of celebrities trying to stay relevant.
6. "Brave Maeve" LGBTQ+ Campaign
Maeve’s forced public persona and Vought’s exploitation of her sexuality for corporate gain mocks real-world instances of companies using LGBTQ+ representation for profit.
5. "Starlight’s Music Career"
Starlight’s manufactured pop star persona and her catchy, yet superficial songs satirize the commercialization of artists and the music industry’s tendency to churn out cookie-cutter pop stars.
4. “Black Noir’s Animated Adventures”
A darkly humorous take on children’s cartoons, these segments blend Noir’s brutal actions with an innocent, animated style, creating a bizarre yet entertaining contrast.
3. “Homelander’s PSA Videos”
Parodying celebrity PSA videos, Homelander’s condescending and overly patriotic messages are both funny and unsettling, showcasing his twisted sense of heroism.
2. “Vought+ Streaming Service”
A jab at the proliferation of streaming platforms, Vought+ is filled with self-promotional content and exclusive superhero shows, mimicking how every company now has its own streaming service.
1. “Vought News Network”
A spoof of biased news channels, VNN’s coverage is blatantly propagandistic, reflecting real-world media manipulation and the spread of corporate-approved narratives.

00:00This is important.
00:01Welcome to WatchMojo, and today we're looking at the most clever
00:04and creative pop culture spoofs in Amazon's The Boys universe.
00:08Beware of minor spoilers for the main show and its spin-off media ahead.
00:13But not even you could stop me alone.
00:15He's not alone.
00:19Number 30. The Seven Takes Responsibility
00:22I take responsibility.
00:23Season 4's finale opens with VNN Today reporting on a new Vought PSA.
00:28But we in the real world know it's not much of a public service.
00:32Firecracker, Black Noir, and The Deep appear in black and white to
00:36take responsibility for racism.
00:38I take responsibility for racism.
00:41It's a startling reenactment of a 2020 PSA to promote the short-lived
00:45anti-racism initiative I Take Responsibility.
00:48The compilation of white celebrities accepting some role in racism was
00:52immediately dismissed as performative, egotistical, and insensitive.
00:56Every time I explained away police brutality or turned a blind eye.
01:02That the least progressive spoofs adapted this misfire is a testament
01:06to its insensitivity.
01:07Never mind the hashtag All Lives Matter.
01:10The joke is about as subtle as the original PSA.
01:14But we could all use The Boys' reservations about celebrity activism.
01:18I stand against hate.
01:19I stand against hate.
01:21I stand against hate.
01:23Number 29. Tournament of Heroes
01:25Do you ever suspect that The Boys is trying to be the goriest entertainment out there?
01:29With the fictional video game Tournament of Heroes,
01:32it steps into the ring with Mortal Kombat.
01:34This long-running fantasy fighting franchise has won many fans and critics
01:39for its extreme violence.
01:402023's Mortal Kombat 1 even features Homelander as a downloadable character.
01:46That'll get ratings.
01:48At first glance, Tournament of Heroes is a play on superhero fighting games
01:52like Marvel Super Heroes or the Injustice series.
01:55But from the video graphics to the graphic fatalities,
01:59it's mostly a fun homage to one of the most controversial titles in gaming.
02:03If nothing else, that may say something about our desensitization to The Boys.
02:13Number 28. Victoria Newman Walked Like an Egyptian
02:17Politician Victoria Newman represents the darkest side of seemingly progressive populists.
02:22Remember when she was just an inoffensive analog for Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez,
02:26complete with a single pseudo-scandal?
02:28When Homelander interrupts Victoria at a rally,
02:31he belittles her by referencing some little walk like an Egyptian dance.
02:35Didn't you love that little walk like an Egyptian dance you did online?
02:39So fun.
02:41The implication is that there's a viral video of the congresswoman
02:44dancing to the Bengals 80s classic.
02:46After all, AOC participated in a dancing video for Boston University back in 2010.
02:52Political opponents resurfaced the footage to denigrate her and her working class image.
02:57It instead made her more popular among supporters,
03:00just as Victoria's own video apparently made her more endearing.
03:04Besides, the authoritarian soup has much more disturbing secrets.
03:09That's why I am so proud to have her on my team.
03:13Number 27. Vought Brands
03:16Essential to any evil conglomerate is, of course, reassuringly catchy brand names.
03:22Vought International has countless subsidiaries and products under its monopoly,
03:26many of them obviously referencing real-world counterparts.
03:29You can see the memorial featuring a performance by Starlight singing
03:32Never Truly Vanish on Voughtify.
03:35Stream music with Voughtify or keep up with your favorite super celebs with Veeple Magazine.
03:40If you need a bite to eat, there's Voughtaburger.
03:43And if you have any doubts about the Disney parallels,
03:45the Boys Universe's top sports channel is VSPN.
03:49Never miss a game. 24-7 coverage of your favorite sports teams.
03:54These are just some of the product puns that are too corny to
03:57significantly play into the Boys' writing.
04:00But the offhand gags are always a simultaneously cute and horrifying
04:04reminder of how much the villainous Vought controls the consumer market.
04:08To experience the Vought Fresh Farms difference,
04:10head to your local grocery store for a super deal.
04:14Number 26. Sam's Fantasy World
04:16Just leave me alone, television's Jason Ritter!
04:20Introduced in Gen V, Sam Reardon has more power than even he can contain.
04:25It's certainly too much for him to handle psychologically.
04:28He mainly copes through nostalgia for Avenue V,
04:31a Muppet TV show for kids that spoofs Sesame Street.
04:35Sam doesn't just imagine this program motivating him to do bad things to any perceived threat.
04:40He pictures his victims as Muppets, bullets as popcorn, and gore as confetti.
04:45You can imagine what the superhuman can get away with with this darkly comedic self-censorship.
04:50It is a spot-on display of both Sam's trauma and his traumatizing abilities.
04:54But it sure isn't a positive association for those who grew up on Sesame Street.
04:59Oh Sam, you have to stop hurting people.
05:04Number 25. 70 Years of Sitcoms
05:08What was the question again?
05:09About?
05:10One of the most elevated superhero properties of its era isn't very friendly to competition.
05:15In the first episode of Gen V, soup actress Justine Garcia is talking to
05:20classmates about some pretentious potential project for Vought Plus.
05:23She says,
05:24It's an elevated superhero thing,
05:27really a meditation on grief told through 70 years of sitcoms.
05:31That is the exact premise of Disney Plus' MCU miniseries WandaVision.
05:36Granted, that show was directed by Matt Shankman rather than TV dramedy veteran Zach Braff.
05:41Perhaps Justine's illusion confronted the irony in The Boys streaming a
05:45spinoff after so much mockery of superhero brands.
05:48If nothing else, it assured fans that Gen V would not compromise on the cutting satire.
05:54And where have I seen you?
05:57Uh, right here.
06:00Now.
06:01Number 24. Tony Gilroy Reshoots
06:04Adam Bork's return to Dawn of the Seven doesn't just dig at Zack Snyder's Justice League.
06:09The fans spoke with those release the Bork cut hashtags, you guys, I love you.
06:13When the director asks Ashley to insult him during a steamy moment,
06:17she reminds him that Tony Gilroy reshot his entire movie.
06:21This is a deep cut into the disputed behind-the-scenes drama of Rogue One.
06:25The Star Wars spinoff was directed by Gareth Edwards,
06:28with Gilroy overseeing the second unit during pickups.
06:31His ultimately extensive work sparked online rumors that Gilroy
06:34led the film's final cut amid conflict between Edwards and Disney.
06:38The official director assures the public that he was involved throughout the making of Rogue One.
06:44Unfortunately for him, no subject in genre movies is too touchy for the boys.
06:49What is it they've sent us?
06:53Hope.
06:53Number 23. Vought on Ice
06:56Sing your heart out with your entire family.
06:59Vought on Ice is my favorite.
07:01Vought is putting on a family folly for the holidays.
07:04Well, one holiday anyway.
07:06Vought on Ice is more than just a lavishly produced parody of Disney on Ice.
07:11And it doesn't stop at Rogers the Musical, a fictional Broadway show in the MCU series Hawkeye.
07:17Shoshanna Bean, James Monroe Iglehart and Andrew Rannells give a costumed cameo
07:22to rehearse the number Let's Put the Christ Back in Christmas.
07:25Happy holidays!
07:26Excuse me? Don't you mean Merry Christmas?
07:30Christian conservatives have been using this term since the 2000s
07:33to protest America's mainstream secularization of Christmas time.
07:37It's an evergreen reference even when it's cold outside.
07:40At least Vought on Ice is inclusive in its mockery of coldly branded wholesomeness,
07:45be it musical or seasonal.
07:54Number 22. The Vought Cinematic Universe
07:58Here's what you missed if you didn't go to V52.
08:00We announced phases 7 through 19 of the VCU,
08:04including a trailer for the most anticipated movie of the year,
08:07Training A-Train.
08:08With Supes side hustling and acting,
08:10Vought would naturally want to combine their individual brands,
08:13never mind the collective brand.
08:15For years, movies and shows about Supes have intersected in the Vought Cinematic Universe.
08:20This franchise model is one of the biggest, most obnoxious hallmarks of superhero movies today.
08:25The Boys takes particular aim at the Marvel Cinematic Universe
08:29in a parody of Disney's biennial D23 Expo.
08:32The V52 Expo in season 4 announces plans for phases 7 through 19 in the VCU,
08:38with emphasis on corporate attempts to virtue signal diversity.
08:48The whole expo is an exaggeration of the ambition in the MCU
08:51that already killed the DC Extended Universe.
08:54Maybe Vought should manage expectations with the carnage and scandals surrounding its stars.
08:59It's been a whole year since my last movie, so I'd say we're due for a reboot.
09:08I ain't gonna sugarcoat this.
09:09We got ourselves a national crisis.
09:12One of season 4's supervillains is Firecracker,
09:15a pyrokinetic who rose from far-right alternative journalism to mainstream media and the seven.
09:20Her running gag of wild conspiracy theories would be hilarious
09:24if many of them were not gaining traction in real life.
09:26Though she was reportedly inspired by controversial politician Marjorie Taylor Greene,
09:31Firecracker lights up fake news demagogues like InfoWars' Alex Jones.
09:36The former model's seductive image may also represent Fox News' unofficial policy
09:40of sexualizing female personalities.
09:43And as if Cameron Coleman were not enough for Tucker Carlson,
09:46Firecracker's real name is Misty Tucker Gray.
09:50Let's not speculate too much on the objective with this character not featured in the comics.
09:54The commentary on far-right figures is incendiary enough.
10:12As soon as Kimiko and Frenchie walk into Vought's sponsored amusement park,
10:16it was clear that it was meant to be a parody of Disneyland.
10:19The bright colors, smiling mascots,
10:21and castle are all great riffs on the real tourist attraction.
10:25Additionally, Frenchie points out the ridiculous ride wait times.
10:32But this sequence doesn't just make fun of the park.
10:35The attractions dedicated to the black hero A-Train and bisexual character Maeve
10:39are so over-the-top they come off as insensitive.
10:42Nearly every frame of the Voughtland sequence
10:45takes at least one shot at an aspect of pop culture.
10:48And the way Frenchie calls attention to the unhealthy food at American theme parks
10:52was just the icing on the cake of this delicious parody.
11:05Serving as the opening for the spinoff series The Boys Diabolical,
11:08Laser Baby's day out satirizes two major properties for the price of one.
11:13First, the animation style and lack of dialogue
11:15serve as great callbacks to older animated shorts.
11:18Diabolical's episode copies the innocent aesthetic of classic cartoons
11:22and adds a ton of realistic violence.
11:25The plot of an infant crawling around the city and avoiding various dangers
11:29is also a direct parody of 1994's Baby's Day Out.
11:37While the 90s movie has an abysmal 19% Rotten Tomatoes score,
11:41the Diabolical episode was well-received for its animation quality,
11:44sense of humor and genuinely heartwarming ending.
11:54In a scene from the Red Thunder movie,
11:56Soldier Boy resists a communist villain with a tough attitude and cheesy dialogue.
12:01The famous American hero, Soldier Boy.
12:05You don't seem like much of a hero to me.
12:08You wouldn't know a hero if they walked in here and blasted you in the face.
12:12The over-the-top nature is a hilarious send-up of propaganda-heavy American 80s films.
12:17Outside of calling out a movie genre,
12:19the Red Thunder clip features a content warning right at the beginning.
12:23This message imitates the disclaimers added to older movies released on streaming
12:26that want to address problematic content.
12:29But unlike real life,
12:30the boys doubles down on the outdated messages and just disown Soldier Boy.
12:35It's an incredibly clever dig on how movie companies can't always address every issue.
12:39When all that commentary was combined with a brilliant performance from Jensen Ackles,
12:43we got a fantastic spoof.
12:45Who do you think you are?
12:47God?
12:48No.
12:49God would have mercy.
12:51I won't.
12:56Nubian Prince was living happily as a hero with super strength
12:59who also pretended to be an African royal for media attention.
13:03His life changed when he met Nubia,
13:05a heroine who could wield electricity and had limited weather control.
13:10After the two fell for each other,
13:11they became a very dysfunctional couple.
13:15Dr. Krause said you're always trying to neuter me.
13:19See?
13:20This isn't working, NP.
13:21This not-so-dynamic duo was definitely made to poke fun at Black Panther and Storm.
13:27Not only do both couples have similar power sets,
13:29but the Marvel lovebirds had a few relationship problems.
13:33Black Panther and Storm officially broke off their marriage in the 2010s.
13:37That particular detail is likely why the Nubian family episode
13:40ended with the two being handed divorce papers.
13:43Honey, are those our divorce papers?
13:47It'll be better for all of us.
13:52If we said that we were thinking of a fictional girl with psychic powers,
13:56a shaved head, and a scary stare,
13:58who would you think we're talking about?
14:00For anyone who said Eleven from Stranger Things,
14:03sorry, but you don't get the prize today.
14:05We were actually talking about Cindy from The Boys.
14:08While the main heroes are infiltrating a facility full of soups,
14:11they accidentally let this young woman loose.
14:19Cindy has powerful telekinetic abilities
14:21that she isn't afraid to use in brutal ways against anyone she sees as an enemy.
14:26And just one of her grim looks can send fully grown adults running.
14:30Hopefully she can put her murderous tendencies aside
14:33and mellow out like the waffle-loving Eleven did.
14:35You're dressed like his friends.
14:38I don't like liars.
14:42While Kimiko is in the hospital recovering from a mission gone south,
14:45she and Frenchie watch the movie Girl Crazy.
14:48The film inspires a daydream where the duo sings
14:50I Got Rhythm in front of dancing doctors and patients.
15:01Throughout the song,
15:02the cast turned standard medical items into hilarious props.
15:06It's made even more impressive by the fact that Karen Fukuhara,
15:09who plays Kimiko, provided vocals for this track.
15:20The world of The Boys doesn't always look so bright and happy.
15:24But no matter what happens next for Kimiko,
15:26this funny musical number will always put a smile on our faces.
15:33Ahhhh!
15:50Marvel's Professor Xavier became famous for leading a school
15:53where gifted and often outcast youngsters could hone their powers and become heroes.
15:57The Boys' diabolical naturally flipped that concept on its head.
16:01In one episode, we learn that a group of kids with bad powers were left at a school for the gifted child.
16:07The young people lived rough lives until they discovered they were forced to get their horrible abilities against their will.
16:13This shocking revelation led them to get revenge against their parents.
16:17While most of the episode is funny, the show never loses sight of how tragic the lives of the young people are.
16:23Although it is an X-Men parody, this diabolical story honestly wouldn't feel out of place in a Marvel comic.
16:29What do you want?
16:31What do I want? I want to see you, but I can't.
16:35Number 13, Vought Plus
16:37With Vought Plus, you have the power to control the greatest content in the world.
16:41Since it seems like every channel has a streaming service these days, it was only fair that the boys got in on the action.
16:47Their Vought Plus network promises to give fans a combination of news, sports coverage, entertainment news, and so much more.
16:55The fake streaming service commercial also pays homage to a few of the characters that died during the course of the show.
17:01This advertisement is done so well that someone unfamiliar with the boys could mistake it for a real streaming service.
17:07Unfortunately, the commercial didn't tell us how to access this new world of content.
17:11But if it ever becomes available, be ready for a soup to come after you if you dare to share your password.
17:17Vought Plus, the world's premier super streaming service.
17:21Sign up now.
17:23Number 12, Social Media Obsession
17:25The diabolical Boyd in 3D episode completely called out society's relationship with online appearances.
17:31After an average Joe becomes disillusioned with his life, he takes an experimental super cream to become handsome and jacked.
17:37After this new version of Boyd gains the confidence to date his neighbor, he starts posting every detail of their relationship online.
17:45The two become a huge sensation after both of them start using the cream.
17:49Meow. Seems like we're the new hot thing.
17:51What's that mean?
17:53Let's find out.
17:55Before long, they become so obsessed with looking good on social media that every other aspect of their life implodes.
18:01Despite taking place in a fictional world, this hard-hitting parody feels uncomfortably close to life.
18:07I know, I look terrible.
18:09Cherry, don't hide them.
18:13Number 11, 7 on 7 News
18:15Can you tell the American people why the FBSA hates superheroes?
18:19Uh, okay, that's one way to start.
18:21It's a simple question.
18:23News personality Cameron Coleman is always down to defend the bad behavior of Vought and its twisted soups.
18:29That fact alone makes him a great counterpart of the Spider-Man-hating journalist J. Jonah Jameson.
18:33Beyond that comparison, Coleman parodies a wide range of subjects on his 7 on 7 news show.
18:39One short sees the fictional newsman imitate Bill O'Reilly by having a behind-the-scenes meltdown.
18:45Just after the break, a record-breaking break...
18:49Somebody turned the lights up too bright and there's a glare on the teleprompter so I can't read it.
18:53Coleman's news program also promotes parodies of real programs.
18:57At certain points, he even has to stop to advertise products or companies.
19:01If you want a humorous riff on news shows, Coleman's got you covered.
19:05So please, join me for the Cameron Coleman Hour, coming soon exclusively on VNN.
19:10Number 10, American Hero
19:12Live wire. Please hang up your cape and go.
19:15Two contestants will win coveted slots in The 7.
19:18So who will go home and who will be the next American Hero?
19:22In the universe of The Boys,
19:24Vought decides the best way to get new members for The 7 is by searching for them with a competition show.
19:30The reality TV program American Hero becomes both a pivotal part of the plot and a great parody all in one.
19:37This soup show uses the same dramatic camera angles and mansions audiences are likely to see on staples like The Bachelor.
19:44When the participants aren't on camera, they acknowledge how fake some aspects of their reality show really are.
19:50We're running lines, actually.
19:51For a reality show?
19:53Right. The reality behind the reality.
19:56And the finale of the program features shocking last-minute twists that were actually heavily planned.
20:02American Hero perfectly skewers the imagery and production secrets people expect from reality TV.
20:08The final new member of The 7 is...
20:17Lord.
20:18The 7 sees the deep.
20:20Number 9, A-Train gets blindsided.
20:24Near the end of season 3, A-Train learns he'll be getting a film that will tell an over-dramatized and not entirely true version of his life story.
20:40The fact that his story centers on an inspiring white person helping a young African-American athlete is a direct shot at the real plot of The Blind Side.
20:54What makes this reference more clever is what happened behind the scenes of the actual film.
21:00Although The Blind Side was sold as a close adaptation of Michael Oher's life, the actual athlete said certain aspects of the film were heavily exaggerated.
21:09Training A-Train gets so absurd as a key subplot in season 4 that the coach is played by Will Ferrell.
21:15Still, the real version of Hollywood isn't much less afraid to mess around with a biopic's truth.
21:24My brother's my coach.
21:25We're out to Sir Julian Fellowes to write, so.
21:27No, I'm not doing that.
21:28You're gonna love it.
21:29Number 8, Chimps Don't Cry.
21:31You know that chimps are physically incapable of crying.
21:35But that doesn't mean they're not crying on the inside.
21:38Former heroine Crimson Countess was more concerned about the welfare of chimps than the lives of human beings during her time on the show.
21:45In an attempt to raise awareness for the primates, she releases the song Chimps Don't Cry.
21:50The show's glimpse at an accompanying video shows images of sad animals throughout.
21:55But the full version's over-the-top visuals and lack of subtlety in the lyrics make it impossible to take it seriously.
22:01You can tell they're hurting.
22:07Cause their eyes stay dry.
22:13Ultimately, it's a near-perfect recreation of the long-running animal rights ads that feature singer Sarah McLachlan's Angel.
22:20Although the real commercials are often made fun of for being too sad, they have actually helped raise millions of dollars.
22:26We hope Crimson Countess did the same with this hilariously dramatic video.
22:30No chimps don't cry.
22:43The concept of a mind-reading kid solving crimes actually sounds like a great premise for a show.
22:48But there's only one person who can see inside their hearts and read their minds.
22:53When this idea was brought to life on The Boys, the creators couldn't resist poking fun at classic programs too.
22:59The blue and red font used for the Mesmerizer title mimics graphics used for shows in the Law & Order franchise.
23:05Additionally, the young lead character Mesmer plays is named Lieutenant Hauser.
23:10That means he shares a last name with a teenage prodigy from a classic medical drama.
23:15Also, I'd like to send him to nuclear medicine for a cardiac scan at 9.30.
23:18Thank you, Dr. Hauser.
23:20As icing on the cake, both Doogie Hauser and Mesmer are played by actors who were huge child stars.
23:26The amount of surface level and meta jokes underneath the Mesmerizer turned it into a brilliant and layered satire.
23:40After the Deep publicly breaks ties with a shady organization,
23:43his story is brought to life with the hilariously over-the-top Not Without My Dolphin movie.
23:57The end result looks like a parody of a film you would find on the Lifetime Network.
24:01Over the years, this channel has been known for turning recent headlines into extremely dramatic movies.
24:15The Deep's trailer tries to mimic the quick editing and dramatic text seen in Lifetime trailers.
24:20And since the real network is geared towards women,
24:23the Not Without My Dolphin goes overboard to appeal to the same demographic.
24:27But given the Deep's shady past with his female fans, we think we'll skip his made-for-TV movie.
24:44A graphic recreation of an Ant-Man theory.
24:50What?
24:51Vought just closed a big endorsement for him with Terminix.
24:53We've been chasing Termite for months.
24:55Before Avengers Endgame was released in theaters,
24:57fans came up with a gross idea for how Ant-Man could defeat the big bad Thanos.
25:02Let's just say it involved the shrinking hero using his powers to get up close and personal with a certain part of the Mad Titan.
25:09Although this widespread fan theory never came to be, the boys was not afraid to go there.
25:14Get out! Get out! Get out!
25:18This show introduced a hero named Termite who once freely used his shrinking abilities for very adult acts.
25:24But he gets in major trouble after he accidentally causes someone's death when he goes from small to big too soon.
25:31After seeing the gory results we cannot show a frame of here,
25:35we're glad Ant-Man never got that close to Thanos.
25:38Good luck, Scott. You got this.
25:41You're right. I do, Captain America.
25:48When Soldier Boy's explosion makes both famous people and citizens uneasy,
25:52the Deep swims in with a YouTube video.
25:54We're all in this together, and together we can imagine a better world.
26:02Imagine there's no heaven.
26:05She tries to reassure everyone by singing a cover of Imagine with a bunch of celebrity friends.
26:10The vertical video format and cameos made it a biting send-up of Gal Gadot's Imagine video.
26:16And it goes like this.
26:19Imagine there's no heaven.
26:23Although she and her fellow celebs had good intentions when they released it in the turbulent year that was 2020,
26:29it was heavily criticized.
26:31Many people didn't buy that celebrities with huge fortunes and homes could really relate to the struggles the average person was having.
26:38Even Gal Gadot herself later said the video was quote,
26:42Ironically, the Deep's incredible parody may have actually been better received than the original Imagine video.
26:48I hope someday you will join us.
26:53A scene where many of Marvel's major heroines teamed up in Endgame divided viewers.
26:58While some saw it as an epic scene, others thought the moment and dialogue felt a little forced.
27:09The writers for the boys let everyone know they had a negative view of the scene by satirizing it.
27:16The writers for the boys let everyone know they had a negative view of the scene by satirizing the Endgame moment almost word for word.
27:30But the show didn't stop there.
27:32When the extremely dangerous Stormfront attacks Innocence, Starlight, Maeve, and Kimiko team up to stop her.
27:38Since all three heroines had their own legitimate issues with the big bad, their alliance felt organic and earned.
27:45It's amazing that the writers managed to make fun of a Marvel scene before playing it straight.
28:02Pepsi found itself in the middle of a PR disaster after releasing an infamous ad with Kendall Jenner.
28:07During the commercial, she stops modeling to join in on a random protest that stops short of a bunch of riot police.
28:13Jenner decides to break the tension between the officers and the crowd with a can of Pepsi.
28:18Years after this ad was pulled because of a ton of negative backlash, the boys took the commercial concept and ran with it.
28:25Where are all those people going?
28:27There's a protest on the street.
28:33A-Train, where are you going?
28:34Almost ready to shoot.
28:35A-Train stands in for Jenner as he attends a protest and brokers peace with his branded drink.
28:40It's remarkable that the show hardly had to change a single scene for this parody to be just as ridiculous as the original ad.
28:47We gotta listen to each other.
28:50A-Train's Turbo Rush energy drink.
28:53And cut!

29:14Rousing music.
29:15Hans Zimmer.
29:19Title card, Dawn of the Seven, cut to black.
29:24Throughout season two, members of the Seven make time to shoot a big superhero team-up movie.
29:29While the title is a direct shot at the name of a certain 2016 DC movie,
29:34the ruined city set and dialogue seem to satirize the plot of 2012's The Avengers.
29:39Dawn of the Seven also took aim at the popular Release the Snyder Cut campaign in season three.
29:44In both the real world and fictional universe of The Boys, social media helped get troubled superhero movies released.
30:00Additionally, Dawn of the Seven accidentally parodied Doctor Strange 2 by also having a surprise cameo from Charlize Theron.
30:07The fictional movie's timely satire and longtime presence in the plot made it one of the show's best pop culture parodies.

30:28I'm not giving off too much of a blindside vibe, am I?
30:30As if that's a bad thing.
