Hello everyone, today I'm going to try these freeze yummies.
00:07
Freeze yummies, freeze dried candy, rainbow sour strips, rainbow sour strips.
00:14
Now I remember, like these are actually freeze dried, so apparently they take the water out
00:20
of the candy to make it more flavorful.
00:23
Just like they do with, I guess, the Jack Links, the Great Canadian Meats, stuff like
00:29
that, they take the moisture out of the meat to make it more tender tasting and more flavorful.
00:36
And they do this with candy.
00:38
And now I've tried one and I've reviewed one before, but I didn't fully understand this
00:43
exactly the way they did it, the same way as they did the meats.
00:47
I knew, but I was kind of stupid and didn't really mention that part too much.
00:51
But these are rainbow sour strips, and the woman that I bought this from at Showcase,
00:58
she said that this is her favorite one.
01:01
She's tried varieties of them, and she said this is her favorite one.
01:05
And just, I figured, okay, it's her favorite one, I'm going to have to try it.
01:08
Normally they're quite expensive, but I got this one for five bucks.
01:12
They have a massive sale right now.
01:14
Once it's gone, it's gone, I guess.
01:17
And then, as you can see, there's a lot of sugar at the bottom there.
01:21
And then back here it says, freeze dried candies, light, crunchy and yummy, melts in your mouth
01:26
with a soft, chewy marshmallow center.
01:29
Everyone will love these candies.
01:31
And 70% calories, and a lot of zeroes here, but sodium is 1%.
01:39
Sugar is 34%, 0, 0, 0, 0 for pretty much everything else.
01:44
I could be missing something.
01:45
Look at this.
01:46
It's so small back there, I can't even see it, but let's see what's in it.
01:51
Syrup, sugar, wheat flour, vegetable oil, concentrated apple juice, concentrated grape
01:58
juice, melcined acid, and some other fatty acids, and salt.
02:05
And FD and Sea Blue number one.
02:08
Number one.
02:09
I don't know what that is.
02:10
I didn't, I have no clue, but again, though, this was packaged, oh, this says it's made
02:17
in China, so this is made in China.
02:21
At least I get to see what's in there.
02:23
And they don't look colorful to me.
02:24
They don't look colorful, like really bright or anything, but let's give this a taste and
02:29
see how they taste at least.
02:32
Oh, as I took that off, and I haven't even unzipped it yet, I can smell, I can smell
02:38
the sweetness.
02:39
Ah, jeez, I'm having a, ah, there we go.
02:50
Hmm.
02:51
Well, I wouldn't know what rainbows smell like, to be quite honest with you, but rainbows
02:58
of the color, I'm not even sure if those are the true colors of the rainbow.
03:03
I haven't seen a real rainbow in a long time, and you'd think I would have because there's
03:07
been so much rain lately.
03:09
It smells nice.
03:10
Let's see.
03:11
But when I think of these, oh, it's really dry.
03:16
That's really dry.
03:18
Like look.
03:20
Oh, jeez.
03:21
It's so dry.
03:22
Like, I remember these things, and I remember them not being, well, these are freeze yummies,
03:28
but the other ones, like gummy bears, remember gummy bears, or sweet, like, you know, like
03:34
really sugary worms and stuff like that, like really sugary stuff.
03:40
But I've never had them freeze dried, so now I'm going to give it a shot.
03:49
Crunchy.
04:04
I'll give that one.
04:09
Hmm.
04:11
Hmm.
04:23
I wouldn't buy them again, because they're very crunchy.
04:31
I think they would make a really good lollipop.
04:34
I think if they actually put it in a bag like this, and freeze dried lollipops, and put
04:40
lollipops in here, they would actually be quite good.
04:46
Yeah, I wouldn't buy them again.
04:47
I would literally give them a five out of ten.
04:49
I wouldn't say they're anything special.
04:51
I like these ones.
04:53
I did try another one.
04:54
I kind of forgot about it.
04:56
You can check that review out, too, and I bought it because it was Gummies French Fries,
05:02
and that day was very foggy out, too, so I kind of left the footage the way it was.
05:07
Sometimes I change the footage a little bit.
05:09
Sometimes I just like it to be natural.
05:11
Like, I'm just talking to you like I am now.
05:14
But this is not, like, this is like, you might as well say this is crunchy bacon.
05:21
Yeah.
05:22
I don't really like it.
05:32
Yeah.
05:38
I'm only eating it again because it's a little bit different.
05:41
It's crunchy.
05:42
If it was a bit softer, and I can taste it a little bit better because it's not, like,
05:48
super sweet that I like, if it wasn't that crunchy thing, I would probably like these
05:53
quite a bit.
05:56
Yeah, five out of ten.
05:57
Nothing special.
06:00
I don't know what more to say about them.
06:05
I'm probably going to keep them, see if some other people would like them.
06:08
Some people might like them a little bit more.
06:10
They like a crunch.
06:11
I know some people that really like a bag of chips, and they let it sit for a long time,
06:16
and they like that real crunch that I don't, where the chips dry out.
06:20
Maybe they should do something like that with actual potato chips, dry them out and put
06:24
them in here.
06:25
Can you imagine the little potatoes?
06:27
Well, anyway, yeah, five out of ten, everyone.
06:29
Check out my other reviews.
06:30
I went to RivFest recently in Peterborough, Ontario.
06:33
You can check out that.
06:35
I talked to the vendors and everything.
06:37
That was really cool.
06:38
And you can see what I like the best.
06:41
Anyway, bye for now, everyone.
06:43
Have an incredible day, and check out, I got tons of things.
06:46
Bye for now.
06:47
I'm saying bye for now too much.
06:49
I'm just looking at this, and I can't believe that this could be a lot better, and it's
06:54
just not.
06:55
It saddens me, actually.
06:56
Well, bye for now, everyone, and thank you for watching.
06:58
Have an incredible day.
