00:00In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
00:02Respected viewers, Peace be upon you.
00:05Ummul Momineen Hazrat Umm Salma R.A. says,
00:09The night Imam Hussain was martyred,
00:14I heard someone reciting poetry about his martyrdom.
00:19Hearing this, I was shocked.
00:21I searched everywhere for the reciter,
00:24but could not find any sign.
00:27Tears welled up from my eyes,
00:30and I opened the glass,
00:32which contained the bones of the Holy Prophet.
00:38The Holy Prophet said,
00:42The day these bones are made,
00:45consider that my Hussain was martyred in Karbala.
00:49I saw the blood flowing from the bones.
00:53Hazrat Ibn Abbas R.A. said,
00:56One day in the afternoon,
00:58I saw the Holy Prophet in a dream,
01:01that the hair of Rish-e-Mubarak is covered with dust,
01:04and a bowl of blood-filled glass is in his holy hands.
01:09I said,
01:10My Lord, my parents are sacrificed for you.
01:13How is this blood-filled glass?
01:16The Holy Prophet said,
01:19in a state of extreme grief,
01:22that I have been collecting the blood of Hussain and his companions since morning.
01:27This bowl contains the blood of Hussain and his companions.
01:31Hazrat Ibn Abbas R.A. said,
01:34Hearing this, I was shocked.
01:37When the news of Imam Hussain's martyrdom came,
01:40and I looked at the time of the dream,
01:42my dream and the time of Imam Hussain's martyrdom were the same.
01:46Nazia Uzmia says,
01:48The day Imam Hussain was martyred in the battlefield of Karbala,
01:52the next day when we woke up in the morning,
01:55all the vessels were filled with blood.
01:58After the martyrdom of the Holy Prophet,
02:00the sky was so dark that the stars were visible during the day.
02:04There is a narration that for seven days,
02:06the sky was so dark that the walls looked as if they were painted in gold.
02:13And the stars were seen colliding with each other.
02:17Abu Sa'id says,
02:19Wherever a stone was picked up in the world,
02:22fresh blood came out of it.
02:24Blood flowed from the sky.
02:26In Khurasan, Sham, and Kufa,
02:29blood was seen on the walls of every house.
02:33The clothes on which this blood had fallen,
02:35each thread of those clothes was separated,
02:38but the box of blood did not go.
02:41Ulema says,
02:42The bright redness that is seen with the dawn
02:45was not before the martyrdom of Imam Hussain.
02:49After the martyrdom, the sky remained red for six months.
02:53Then this redness appeared.
02:55This is the narration of Hazrat Umme Ma'bad's sister,
02:58the daughter of Hazrat Hind.
03:00Once the beloved Prophet of Allah came to my tent.
03:05After resting for a while,
03:07when he woke up, he asked for water.
03:10He washed his hands and drank water.
03:13Outside the tent, in the bushes,
03:15where the Prophet had poured water,
03:18we saw a strange kind of tree there in the morning.
03:23There are big fruits in it,
03:25which have a fragrance like amber,
03:27and sweetness like honey.
03:30The speciality of those fruits was that
03:32if you were hungry, you would walk,
03:34if you were thirsty, you would drink,
03:36if you were sick, you would recover,
03:39and if a camel or sheep ate its leaves,
03:42its milk would increase.
03:44We named it the blessed tree,
03:46meaning the tree of blessings.
03:49Many people came from all over the world
03:52and benefited from it.
03:55Suddenly one morning we saw
03:57that all the fruits of that tree had fallen
04:00and the leaves were dry.
04:02We were very worried that why this happened.
04:05In the meantime, we were informed that
04:07the Beloved of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,
04:10had passed away.
04:11A few days later, new leaves grew in the tree.
04:14There were fruits too, but less.
04:17About 30 years after this incident,
04:19one morning again we saw
04:21that thorns grew from the stem to the top of the tree
04:25and the fruits had fallen.
04:27We were very worried that
04:29something had happened.
04:31We were informed that
04:33the Beloved of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,
04:35had passed away.
04:37After this, there were no more fruits in the tree,
04:39only the leaves remained.
04:41We continued to get alms from the same leaves.
04:45A few days later, one morning we saw
04:47that fresh blood was flowing from the stem of the blessed tree.
04:50The leaves dried up and fell.
04:52We thought that
04:54perhaps another big incident had happened.
04:57The day passed in this state of terror and worry.
05:01At the time of the incident,
05:03there was a cry from that tree
05:05which increased our fear.
05:07Until the next day,
05:09we were informed that
05:11Imam Hussain, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,
05:13and his family and companions
05:15were martyred in the field of Karbala
05:17in a state of hunger and thirst for three days.
05:21Then that tree never returned.
05:24When Imam Hussain, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,
05:26was martyred,
05:28a white pigeon came flying
05:30and spread its feathers and hair
05:32in the blood of Imam Ali Maqam
05:34and flew away.
05:36So much so that this flying pigeon
05:38reached Madinah-e-Tayyaba.
05:40In the style of circumambulation,
05:42it used to fly around the Holy Mosque
05:44of the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,
05:46and blood drops were dripping from its feathers.
05:48The people of Madinah were surprised
05:50to see its condition
05:52and when they heard the news
05:54of the martyrdom of Imam Ali Maqam
05:56a few days later,
05:58it was the first time
06:00that this pigeon had appeared
06:02to convey the news of the martyrdom
06:04of Imam Ali Maqam
06:06to the courtyard of the Prophet.
06:08The elders say that the red-colored
06:10pigeons are from the same
06:12generation of pigeons.
06:14According to Kanz-ul-Gharaib,
06:16the owner of Rauzat-ul-Shuhada writes,
06:18there was a Jew,
06:20his daughter was very good
06:22in appearance,
06:24but suddenly she became naked
06:26and became a man.
06:28The people of the neighborhood
06:30looked at that girl with a
06:32severe hatred,
06:34so much so that the Jew
06:36took his daughter and settled
06:38in a garden outside the city.
06:40He worked in the city all day
06:42and came to the girl in the
06:44garden in the evening.
06:46One day it so happened that the
06:48Jew was so busy in his business
06:50that he could not return to the
06:52garden in the evening.
06:54In the morning,
06:56the girl heard the painful cry
06:58of a bird on another tree
07:00nearby.
07:02She could not bear it
07:04and somehow slithered
07:06under that tree.
07:08Although she was naked,
07:10she lifted her head up
07:12and turned to the crying bird.
07:14Suddenly a warm drop of blood
07:16from the bird's wings
07:18dripped into her right eye,
07:20and her eye lit up.
07:22Then a drop of blood
07:24dripped on her right hand,
07:26and that hand was cured.
07:28The girl spread her left hand
07:30in this state, and a drop
07:32of blood dripped on it,
07:34and that hand was also cured.
07:36The girl rubbed that drop
07:38of blood on her left eye,
07:40and that eye also lit up.
07:42After that, the girl took
07:44a few drops on her hands
07:46and rubbed them all over her body,
07:48which made her completely healthy,
07:50but she was not a man.
07:52Now the girl got up and started
07:54looking for her father
07:56around the garden.
07:58In the meantime,
08:00that Jew also came,
08:02but could not recognize
08:04his daughter.
08:06He thought she was a stranger
08:08and asked,
08:10O woman, who are you?
08:12I left my helpless
08:14daughter in this garden.
08:16Do you know
08:18me?
08:20The girl said,
08:22Father, you did not recognize
08:24me. I am your helpless
08:26daughter, whom you left
08:28in the garden.
08:30The Jew fainted with great
08:32joy. After a while,
08:34when he came to his senses,
08:36the girl told the whole story
08:38and brought the Jew under
08:40the tree on which the bird
08:42was still sitting.
08:44The author of the book
