00:00:00I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan
00:00:03In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
00:00:06Alif Lam Mim
00:00:14This is the Book, in which there is no doubt, a guidance for the righteous
00:00:18Those who believe in the unseen and establish prayer
00:00:21And from what We have provided for them they spend
00:00:25And those who believe in what has been sent down to you
00:00:28And what was sent down before you, and in the Hereafter they are certain
00:00:33Those are on guidance from their Lord, and those are the successful
00:00:40Those who disbelieve, it is the same for them
00:00:44Whether you warn them or do not warn them, they will not believe
00:00:49Allah has sealed over their hearts and over their hearing and over their sight
00:00:55And for them is a great punishment
00:01:06They deceive Allah and those who believe
00:01:09And they deceive not except themselves, and they perceive not
00:01:13In their hearts is a disease, so Allah has increased them a disease
00:01:18And for them is a painful punishment for what they used to deny
00:01:22And when it is said to them, Do not do corruption in the land, they say, We are only doing good
00:01:29Unquestionably, it is they who are doing corruption, but they perceive not
00:01:34And when it is said to them, Believe as people believe, they say,
00:01:39I believe as the fools believe, Unquestionably, it is they who are the fools, but they perceive not
00:01:48And when they meet those who believe, they say, We believe
00:01:52And when they go to their devils, they say, We are with you, we are only making fun
00:02:00Allah makes fun of them and causes them to wander in their transgression
00:02:06Those are the ones who bought misguidance with guidance, but their trade was not profitable, and they were not guided
00:02:15Their example is like the example of one who lit a fire, and when it illuminated what was around him, Allah took away their light and left them in darkness, not seeing
00:02:30Deaf, dumb, blind, so they will not return
00:02:35Or like a thunderbolt from the sky, in which are darkness, thunder and lightning,
00:02:42They put their fingers in their ears of thunderbolts, for fear of death, and Allah encompasses the disbelievers
00:02:53The lightning is about to take away their sight, every time it illuminates for them, they walk in it, and when it is dark for them, they stand up
00:03:03And if Allah had willed, He would have taken away their hearing and their sight, surely, Allah is Able to do all things
00:03:14O mankind! Worship your Lord Who created you and those before you, that you may fear Him
00:03:22Who made for you the earth a bed, and the sky a building, and sent down water from the sky, and brought forth therewith fruits as provision for you. So set not up equals for Allah while you know
00:03:42And if you are in doubt about what We have sent down to Our servant, then bring a Surah like it, and call your witnesses besides Allah, if you are truthful
00:03:59But if you do not do, and you will not do, then fear the Fire whose fuel is men and stones, prepared for the disbelievers
00:04:10And give good tidings to those who believe and do righteous deeds, that they will have Gardens beneath which rivers flow,
00:04:19every time they are provided therewith with a fruit as provision. They will say,
00:04:25This is what we were provided with before, and they will be given therewith an equal share,
00:04:30and they will have therein pure spouses, and they will abide therein forever
00:04:36Verily, Allah is not ashamed to present an example of something and that which is above it.
00:04:44But as for those who believe, they know that it is the truth from their Lord.
00:04:50And as for those who disbelieve, they say, What does Allah intend by this example?
00:04:56He misleads with it many, and guides with it many. And none misleads with it except the Fasiqun.
00:05:03Those who break the covenant of Allah after His covenant, and cut off that which Allah has ordered to be joined,
00:05:12and cause corruption in the earth, those are the losers.
00:05:18How can you disbelieve in Allah when you are dead and He has given you life,
00:05:23then He causes you to die, then He gives you life, then to Him you will be returned?
00:05:29He it is Who created for you all that is in the earth, then He turned to the heaven,
00:05:36and He made them into seven heavens, and He is the All-Knowing of all things.
00:05:42And when your Lord said to the angels, I will place in the earth a successor,
00:05:50they said, Do you place therein one who causes corruption therein and spills the blood?
00:05:56And We glorify your praise and sanctify you. He said, Verily, I know that which you know not.
00:06:03And he taught Adam all the names, then he showed them to the angels, and said,
00:06:11Tell me the names of these, if you are truthful.
00:06:19They said, Glory be to You! We have no knowledge except that which You have taught us.
00:06:24Verily, You are the All-Knowing, the All-Wise.
00:06:27He said, O Adam, tell them their names.
00:06:32And when he had told them their names, he said, Did I not tell you that I know the unseen of the heavens and the earth,
00:06:44and I know that which you reveal and that which you conceal?
00:06:49And when We said to the angels, Bow down before Adam, they bowed down,
00:06:54except Iblis, he refused and was arrogant, and he was of the disbelievers.
00:06:59And We said, O Adam, dwell thou and thy wife in Paradise,
00:07:03and eat thereof as you please wherever you like,
00:07:06and approach not this tree, lest you be of the Zalimun.
00:07:11So Shaitan made them leave it, and brought them out of that which they were in.
00:07:16And We said, Go down, you to one another as enemies,
00:07:20and for you in the earth is a dwelling place, and enjoyment for a time.
00:07:24So Adam received words from his Lord, and he repented to Him.
00:07:29Verily, He is the All-Returner, the Most Merciful.
00:07:33We said, Go down from it all of you, and if there come to you guidance from Me,
00:07:40then whosoever follows My Guidance, there shall be no fear for them, nor shall they grieve.
00:07:45And those who disbelieve and deny Our Ayat, those are the dwellers of the Fire,
00:07:52therein shall they abide.
00:07:54O Children of Israel! Remember My favor which I bestowed upon you,
00:07:59and fulfill My covenant, and I will fulfill your covenant, and fear Me.
00:08:03And believe in that which I have sent down, confirming that which is with you,
00:08:07and be not the first to disbelieve in it, and buy not My Ayat for a small price,
00:08:13and fear Me.
00:08:15And wear not the truth in falsehood, and conceal the truth while you know.
00:08:21And perform As-Salat, and give Zakat, and bow down with those who bow down.
00:08:26Do you command men to do good, and forget yourselves while you recite the Book?
00:08:33Do you not understand?
00:08:35Then seek help through patience and As-Salat, and it is indeed great,
00:08:39except for those who bow down.
00:08:41Those who think that they will meet their Lord, and that to Him they will return.
00:08:48O Children of Israel! Remember My favor which I bestowed upon you,
00:08:54and that I have favored you over the worlds.
00:08:57And fear a Day when no soul will avail another soul at all,
00:09:02and no intercession will be accepted from it, and no help will be taken from it,
00:09:07nor will they be helped.
00:09:09And remember when We saved you from the people of Fir'aun,
00:09:13who were fasting against you, a terrible torment,
00:09:16slaughtering your sons, and depriving your women.
00:09:21And in that was a great trial from your Lord.
00:09:27And remember when We parted the sea for you, and saved you,
00:09:30and drowned the people of Fir'aun while you were watching.
00:09:35And when We made an appointment with Musa for forty nights,
00:09:38then you took the calf after him, while you were wrongdoers.
00:09:44Then We pardoned you after that, that you might be grateful.
00:09:50And when We gave Musa the Book and the criterion, that you might be guided.
00:09:55And when Musa said to his people,
00:09:57O my people! Verily, you have wronged yourselves by taking the calf,
00:10:02so turn to your Creator, and kill yourselves.
00:10:05That is better for you with your Creator, so He will turn to you.
00:10:10Verily, He is the Most Forgiving, the Most Merciful.
00:10:14And when you said, O Musa! We will not believe you until we see Allah openly.
00:10:19Then the thunderbolt overtook you while you were watching.
00:10:24Then We raised you up after your death, that you might be grateful.
00:10:29And We caused the clouds to cover you, and We sent down to you the rain and the flood.
00:10:35Eat of the good things which We have provided for you.
00:10:39And they wronged Us not, but they wronged themselves.
00:10:45And when We said, Enter this town, and eat thereof as you please,
00:10:50and enter the gate prostrating yourselves, and say, We will forgive you your sins,
00:10:55and We will increase the doers of good.
00:10:57Then those who were wronged exchanged a statement other than that which had been said to them.
00:11:01So We sent down to those who were wronged a punishment from the heaven because they were disobedient.
00:11:08And when Musa asked for water for his people, We said, Strike the stone with your staff.
00:11:13Then twelve springs burst forth from it.
00:11:16Each people knew what they drank. Eat and drink of the provision of Allah,
00:11:22and do not transgress in the land, being corrupters.
00:11:25And when you said, O Musa! We will not be patient with one food.
00:11:30So call upon your Lord for us, that He may bring forth for us of that which you grow,
00:11:34the earth, and its grass, and its grasshoppers, and its fruits, and its lentils, and its onions.
00:11:41He said, Will you exchange that which is nearer to Allah than that which is better?
00:11:46Go down to Egypt, and verily, you will have what you ask for.
00:11:50And humiliation and poverty will be cast upon them, and they will be filled with the Wrath of Allah.
00:11:58That is because they used to disbelieve in the Ayat of Allah, and kill the Prophets unjustly.
00:12:06That is because they disobeyed and were transgressing.
00:12:09Verily, those who believe, and those who are Jews, and the Christians, and the Sabians,
00:12:14those who believe in Allah and the Last Day, and do righteous deeds,
00:12:18they will have their reward with their Lord, and there will be no fear for them, nor will they grieve.
00:12:24And when We took your covenant, and raised the Mount above you,
00:12:28say, Take what We have given you with strength, and remember what is in it, that you may fear Allah.
00:12:34Then you turned away after that, and had it not been for the Grace of Allah upon you and His Mercy,
00:12:41you would have been of the losers.
00:12:44And you knew those of you who transgressed in the Sabbath,
00:12:48so We said to them, Be apes, despised.
00:12:51So We made it an example for those before it and those after it,
00:12:55and an admonition for the righteous.
00:12:57And when Musa said to his people, Verily, Allah commands you to slaughter a cow.
00:13:03They said, Are you making fun of us?
00:13:06He said, I seek refuge in Allah from being of the ignorant.
00:13:10They said, Call upon your Lord for us, that He may make clear to us what it is.
00:13:13He said, Verily, He says, It is a cow, neither old nor young,
00:13:18two years between, so do what you are commanded.
00:13:22They said, Call upon your Lord for us, that He may make clear to us what colour it is.
00:13:26He said, Verily, He says, It is a yellow cow, bright in colour,
00:13:32pleasing to the beholders.
00:13:35They said, Call upon your Lord for us, that He may make clear to us what it is.
00:13:38Verily, the cow is like to us, and if Allah wills, we will be rightly guided.
00:13:46He said, Verily, He says, It is a cow, neither old nor young,
00:13:51that ploughs the earth, nor waters the field,
00:13:53it is straight and straight.
00:13:56They said, Now you have come with the truth, so slaughter it.
00:13:59And they nearly did not do it.
00:14:02And when you slaughtered a man, you ran into it,
00:14:05and Allah will bring out that which you used to hide.
00:14:09We said, Strike him with some of it.
00:14:12Thus does Allah give life to the dead,
00:14:14and He shows you His Signs, that you may understand.
00:14:17Then your hearts became hard after that,
00:14:20so they are like stones, or more hard.
00:14:23And verily, of the stones there are those from which rivers burst forth,
00:14:28and verily, of them is that which splits open, and from it comes forth water.
00:14:35And verily, of them is that which falls down out of fear of Allah.
00:14:40And Allah is not unmindful of what you do.
00:14:46Do you then hope that they will believe you,
00:14:49when a party of them used to hear the Word of Allah,
00:14:53then they distort it after they have understood it, while they know?
00:14:58And when they meet those who believe, they say,
00:15:01We believe. And when some of them go to others, they say,
00:15:04Will you speak to them about that which Allah has revealed to you,
00:15:08that they may argue with you about it with your Lord?
00:15:13Will you not then understand?
00:15:15Do they not know that Allah knows what they conceal and what they reveal?
00:15:21And of them are the Ummiyun. They know not the Book,
00:15:24but it is a wish, and they are only guessing.
00:15:28So woe to those who write the Book with their own hands,
00:15:32then say, This is from Allah, that they may buy with it a small price.
00:15:39So woe to them for that which their hands have written,
00:15:42and woe to them for that which they earn.
00:15:46And they say, The Fire will not touch us except for a few days.
00:15:52Say, Have you taken a covenant with Allah that Allah will not break His covenant?
00:15:57Or do you say about Allah that which you know not?
00:16:00Yes. Whosoever earns evil and his sin encompasses him,
00:16:06then those are the dwellers of the Fire, they will abide therein.
00:16:11And those who believe and do righteous deeds,
00:16:14those are the dwellers of Paradise, they will abide therein.
00:16:19And when We took the covenant of the Children of Israel,
00:16:23that you worship none but Allah, and to parents do good,
00:16:26and to relatives, and to orphans, and to the needy,
00:16:29and say to the people, Do good, and observe Prayer, and give Zakat,
00:16:34then you turned away, except a few of you, and you turned away.
00:16:41And when We took your covenant,
00:16:43that you shed not your blood, nor drive out yourselves from your homes,
00:16:50then you decided, and you bear witness.
00:16:54Then you, these, kill yourselves,
00:16:59and drive out a party of you from their homes,
00:17:04so that you may protest against them with sin and aggression,
00:17:08and if they come to you as captives, you drive them out,
00:17:11and it is forbidden for you to drive them out.
00:17:14Do you then believe in some of the Book, and disbelieve in others?
00:17:18So the recompense of those of you who do that,
00:17:23is nothing but disgrace in the life of this world.
00:17:26And on the Day of Resurrection, they will be returned to the severest punishment.
00:17:31And Allah is not unmindful of what you do.
00:17:35Those are the ones who have bought the life of this world for the Hereafter,
00:17:40and the punishment will not be lightened for them, nor will they be helped.
00:17:44And indeed We gave Musa the Book,
00:17:47and after him We took away the Messengers.
00:17:50And We gave Isa, son of Mary, the clear proofs,
00:17:53and We strengthened him with the Holy Spirit.
00:17:55Then every time a Messenger comes to you with that which you yourselves do not desire,
00:18:01you are arrogant, and a party you deny, and a party you kill.
00:18:07And they say, Our hearts are closed. Nay! Allah has cursed them for their disbelief.
00:18:12So little is it that they believe.
00:18:15And when a Book comes to them from Allah, confirming that which is with them,
00:18:23and before that they used to inquire about those who disbelieved,
00:18:27but when that which they knew came to them, they disbelieved in it.
00:18:32So Allah's curse is on the disbelievers.
00:18:35Evil is that which they have bought for themselves, that they disbelieve in that which Allah has sent down,
00:18:41unwilling that Allah should send down of His Bounty upon whomsoever of His servants He wills.
00:18:48So they are angry with one another.
00:18:52And for the disbelievers is a humiliating punishment.
00:18:55And when it is said to them, Believe in that which Allah has sent down,
00:18:59they say, We believe in that which has been sent down to us,
00:19:03and they disbelieve in that which is behind it.
00:19:06But it is the truth, confirming that which is with them.
00:19:09Say, Then why did you kill the Prophets of Allah before, if you were believers?
00:19:19And Musa came to you with clear proofs.
00:19:23Then you took the calf after him, while you were wrongdoers.
00:19:28And when We took your covenant and raised the Mount above you,
00:19:32they said, Take what We have given you by force, and listen.
00:19:36They said, We heard and disobeyed, and the calf was drunk in their hearts because of their disbelief.
00:19:45Say, Evil is that which your faith commands you, if you are believers.
00:19:52Say, If the abode of the Hereafter is with Allah,
00:19:57alone, apart from the people, then wish for death, if you are truthful.
00:20:06And they will never wish for it, because of what their hands have sent forth.
00:20:11And Allah is All-Knowing of the wrongdoers.
00:20:14And you will find that they are the most eager of people for life, and of those who ascribe partners to Allah.
00:20:21One of them would like to be given a thousand years of life,
00:20:24and it is not a torture to make him live.
00:20:30And Allah is All-Seeing of what they do.
00:20:33Say, Whosoever is an enemy of Jibreel,
00:20:36then verily, He has sent him down upon your heart, by permission of Allah,
00:20:40confirming that which is before him, and as a guidance and glad tidings for the believers.
00:20:45Whosoever is an enemy of Allah and His angels and His Messengers and Jibreel and Mikal,
00:20:53then verily, Allah is an enemy of the disbelievers.
00:20:56And indeed We have sent down to you clear Signs, and none disbelieve therein except the Fasiqun.
00:21:05And every time they make a covenant, some of them reject it. Nay, but most of them believe not.
00:21:14And when a Messenger comes to them from Allah, confirming that which is with them,
00:21:21some of those who were given the Book reject the Book of Allah behind their backs,
00:21:29as if they knew not.
00:21:33And they followed that which the Shayatin recited concerning the Sovereignty of Sulaiman.
00:21:38And Sulaiman did not disbelieve, but the Shayatin disbelieved.
00:21:43They teach the people sorcery.
00:21:45And that which was sent down upon the angels was at the door of Laharut and Marut.
00:21:51And they teach not one of them until they say,
00:21:55We are only a trial, so disbelieve not.
00:21:59So they learn from them that which they separate between a man and his wife.
00:22:05And they harm not one of them except by permission of Allah.
00:22:15And they learn that which harms them and benefits them not.
00:22:20And they know that whoever buys them, he will have in the Hereafter no creation.
00:22:26And evil indeed is that which they have bought for themselves, if they but knew.
00:22:31And if they but believed and feared Allah, a reward from Allah would be better, if they but knew.
00:22:41O you who believe! Say not, Our Master, but say, Look at us and hear us.
00:22:48And for the disbelievers is a painful punishment.
00:22:51Those who disbelieve from among the People of the Book and the Mushrikun do not wish that
00:22:56any good be sent down to you from your Lord.
00:23:00And Allah selects for His Mercy whom He wills.
00:23:06And Allah is the Possessor of great Bounty.
00:23:10We do not copy any Ayah or forget it.
00:23:13We bring a better one or a like thereof.
00:23:16Do you not know that Allah is Able to do all things?
00:23:20Do you not know that Allah is the Sovereign of the heavens and the earth?
00:23:25And you have none besides Allah as a Wali or a Helper.
00:23:31Or do you wish to ask your Messenger as Musa was asked before?
00:23:36And whosoever exchanges disbelief for faith has indeed strayed from the right path.
00:23:42Many of the People of the Book would like to return you to disbelief after you have believed,
00:23:49out of envy of themselves, after the truth has become clear to them.
00:23:56So forgive and forgive until Allah comes with His Command.
00:23:59Verily, Allah is Able to do all things.
00:24:04And perform As-Salat and give Zakah.
00:24:07And whatever good you give yourselves, you will find it with Allah.
00:24:13Verily, Allah is All-Seer of what you do.
00:24:16And they say,
00:24:17There will not enter Paradise except he who is a Jew or a Christian.
00:24:23These are their wishes.
00:24:24Say,
00:24:25Bring your proof, if you are truthful.
00:24:30Yes indeed!
00:24:31Whosoever submits his face to Allah while he is a doer of good,
00:24:34his reward will be with his Lord.
00:24:37And there will be no fear for them, nor will they grieve.
00:24:40And the Jews say,
00:24:42The Christians are not responsible for anything.
00:24:48And they recite the Book.
00:24:51Thus say those who know not the like of what they say.
00:24:56And Allah will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection,
00:24:59in that wherein they used to differ.
00:25:01And who is more unjust than he who forbids the Mosques of Allah
00:25:05that his name should be mentioned therein,
00:25:07and he strives to destroy them?
00:25:09Those, it is not for them to enter them except in fear.
00:25:17For them in this world is disgrace,
00:25:19and for them in the Hereafter is a great torment.
00:25:22And to Allah belongs the East and the West.
00:25:24And wherever you turn, there is the Face of Allah.
00:25:28Verily, Allah is All-Encompassing, All-Knowing.
00:25:31And they say, Allah has taken a son.
00:25:34Glory be to Him!
00:25:35Nay, to Him belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth.
00:25:37All are obedient to Him.
00:25:39He is the Originator of the heavens and the earth.
00:25:41And when He decrees a thing, He only says to it,
00:25:45Be, and it is.
00:25:47And those who know not say,
00:25:49Why does Allah not speak to us, or a sign comes to us?
00:25:53Thus say those before them, like their saying.
00:25:57Their hearts are alike.
00:25:59We have made clear the Ayat to the people who are certain.
00:26:04Verily, We have sent you with the truth as a bearer of glad tidings and a warner,
00:26:08and you will not be asked about the dwellers of Hell.
00:26:11And neither the Jews nor the Christians will be pleased with you until you follow their religion.
00:26:18Say, Verily, the guidance of Allah is the guidance.
00:26:21And if you follow their desires after that which has come to you of knowledge,
00:26:28you will have no protector or helper from Allah.
00:26:33Those to whom We have given the Book, who recite it as it should be recited,
00:26:38it is they who believe in it.
00:26:41And whoever disbelieves in it, it is they who are the losers.
00:26:46O Children of Israel! Remember My favor which I have bestowed upon you,
00:26:52and that I have favored you over the worlds.
00:26:55And fear a Day when no soul will avail another soul in the least,
00:27:00nor will justice be accepted from it, nor will intercession benefit it, nor will they be helped.
00:27:12And when they tried Abraham, his Lord, with words, and He fulfilled them.
00:27:19He said, I will make you a leader among the people.
00:27:23He said, And of my descendants?
00:27:26He said, No one will attain the covenant of the Zalimun.
00:27:29And when We made the House a place of residence for the people and a place of safety,
00:27:34and they took from the place of Abraham a place of prayer,
00:27:39and We made a covenant to Abraham and Ishmael that they should purify My House
00:27:45for those who turn to Allah, and those who turn to Allah, and those who bow and prostrate.
00:27:51And when Abraham said, My Lord, make this a safe land,
00:27:56and provide for its people some of the fruits,
00:27:59those of them who believe in Allah and the Last Day.
00:28:04He said, And as for him who disbelieves, I will give him a little enjoyment,
00:28:08then I will force him to the torment of the Fire, and an evil destination.
00:28:14And when Abraham raised the foundations of the House, and Ishmael said,
00:28:20Our Lord, accept from us. Verily, You are the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.
00:28:27Our Lord, and make us Muslims for You, and of our descendants a Muslim nation for You,
00:28:34and show us Our rites, and be kind to us. Verily, You are the All-Accepting, the All-Merciful.
00:28:41Our Lord, and raise among them a Messenger from among themselves,
00:28:44who will recite to them Your Ayat, and teach them the Book and Wisdom, and purify them.
00:28:51Verily, You are the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.
00:28:55And who will turn away from the religion of Abraham, except one whose soul is foolish?
00:29:01And We have chosen him in this world, and verily, in the Hereafter he will be of the righteous.
00:29:08When his Lord said to him, Submit! He said, I have submitted to the Lord of the worlds.
00:29:13And Abraham commanded his sons and Jacob, O my sons!
00:29:18Verily, Allah has chosen for you the religion, so die not except in submission.
00:29:26Or were you witnesses when Jacob the dead came, when he said to his sons,
00:29:33What will you worship after me? They said, We will worship your God and the God of your fathers,
00:29:41Abraham, and Ishmael, and Ishaq, one God, and we will submit to Him.
00:29:49That is a nation for which has passed away what it earned, and for you is what you have earned.
00:29:56And you will not be questioned about what they used to do.
00:30:01And they said, Be Jews or Christians, you will be rightly guided.
00:30:06Say, Nay, but the religion of Abraham is a apostate, and he was not of the Mushrikun.
00:30:13Say, We believe in Allah, and what was sent down to us, and what was sent down to Abraham,
00:30:21and Ishmael, and Ishaq, and Jacob, and the ancestors, and what was given to Moses and Jesus,
00:30:31and what was given to the Prophets from their Lord, We make no distinction between any of them,
00:30:38and We are to him submissive.
00:30:41But if they believe in the like of that which you believe in, then they are rightly guided.
00:30:47And if they turn away, then they are only in division.
00:30:54So Allah will suffice you against them, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.
00:31:00The patience of Allah, and who is better in patience than Allah? And We are His slaves.
00:31:07Say, Do you argue with us about Allah, when He is our Lord and your Lord,
00:31:15and we have our deeds, and you have your deeds, and we are sincere to Him?
00:31:21Or do you say that Abraham, Ishmael, Ishaq, Jacob, and the ancestors
00:31:28were Jews or Christians? Say, Do you know better, or Allah?
00:31:35And who is more unjust than he who keeps a testimony from Allah?
00:31:42And Allah is not unmindful of what you do.
00:31:46That is a nation for which has passed away what it earned, and for you is what you have earned.
00:31:53And you will not be questioned about what they used to do.
00:31:59The foolish among the people will say, What has turned them away from their Qibla which they were on?
00:32:08Say, To Allah belongs the East and the West.
00:32:11He guides whom He wills to a Straight Path.
00:32:17And thus have We made you a medium nation, that you may be witnesses over the people,
00:32:25and the Messenger shall be a witness over you.
00:32:28And We have not made the Qibla which you were on, except that We may know who follows the Messenger,
00:32:36and who turns on his heels.
00:32:40And it is not great except for those whom Allah has guided.
00:32:45And Allah is not to make your faith go to waste.
00:32:49Verily, Allah is Kind to the people and Merciful.
00:32:54We have seen the turning of your face in the heaven,
00:32:58so We will turn you to a Qibla that you may be pleased with.
00:33:02So turn your face towards the Sacred Mosque, and wherever you may be,
00:33:07turn your faces towards it.
00:33:10And verily, those who have been given the Book know that it is the truth from their Lord.
00:33:17And Allah is not unaware of what they do.
00:33:21And if you come to those who have been given the Book with every Ayah,
00:33:26they will not follow your Qibla, nor will you follow their Qibla.
00:33:31And some of them will not follow the Qibla of others.
00:33:36And if you follow their desires after knowledge has come to you,
00:33:43verily, then you are of the Zalimun.
00:33:47Those to whom We have given the Book know it as they know their sons.
00:33:54And verily, some of them conceal the truth while they know.
00:34:00The truth is from your Lord, so be not of those who doubt.
00:34:05And for each there is a direction which he turns to, so race for the good things.
00:34:11Wherever you may be, Allah brings you all together.
00:34:15Verily, Allah is Able to do all things.
00:34:20And wherever you go, turn your face towards the Sacred Mosque,
00:34:24and verily, it is the truth from your Lord.
00:34:27And Allah is not unaware of what you do.
00:34:58As We have sent among you a Messenger from among you,
00:35:02reciting to you Our Ayat, and purifying you,
00:35:05and teaching you the Book and Wisdom,
00:35:08and teaching you that which you knew not.
00:35:14So remember Me, I will remember you, and be grateful to Me, and disbelieve not.
00:35:19O you who believe! Seek help through patience and prayer.
00:35:25Verily, Allah is with those who are patient.
00:35:28And say not to those who are slain, in the Cause of Allah, that they are dead.
00:35:34Nay! They are alive, but you perceive it not.
00:35:39And We will surely test you with a thing of fear and hunger,
00:35:44and a deficiency of wealth and lives and fruits.
00:35:50And give glad tidings to those who are patient.
00:35:54Those who, when a calamity befalls them, say,
00:35:58Verily, we belong to Allah, and to Him we shall return.
00:36:03It is they upon whom are blessings from their Lord, and mercy.
00:36:09And it is they who are the rightly guided.
00:36:15Verily, the straight and the crooked are among the signs of Allah.
00:36:22So whosoever performs Hajj to the House, or performs Umrah,
00:36:24there is no sin upon him that he should go round about them.
00:36:29And whosoever volunteers for good, verily, Allah is Grateful, All-Knowing.
00:36:35Verily, those who conceal that which We have sent down of clear proofs and guidance,
00:36:41after We have made it clear to the people in the Book,
00:36:46it is they whom Allah curses, and it is they whom the cursers curse.
00:36:54Except for those who repent and make amends and make things clear,
00:36:58it is they whom I will forgive, and I am Oft-Returning with Forgiveness, Most Merciful.
00:37:04Verily, those who disbelieve and die while they are disbelievers,
00:37:09it is they upon whom is the curse of Allah, and of the angels, and of all people.
00:37:18They will abide therein. The punishment will not be lightened for them, nor will they be given respite.
00:37:25And your God is One God. There is no god but He, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.
00:37:32Verily, in the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the alternation of the night and the day,
00:37:39and the ships that sail in the sea for the benefit of mankind,
00:37:44and that which Allah has sent down from the heaven of water,
00:37:54thereby reviving the earth after its death, and spreading therein every kind of creature,
00:38:06and the alternation of the winds and the clouds that are subjected between the heaven and the earth
00:38:13are Signs for a people who understand.
00:38:18And among the people are those who take as equals other than Allah,
00:38:24who love them as they love Allah. And those who believe are stronger in love for Allah.
00:38:32And if only those who did wrong could see when they see the punishment,
00:38:35that all power belongs to Allah, and that Allah is Severe in punishment.
00:38:42When those who were followed turned away from those who were followed,
00:38:46and they saw the punishment, and all means were cut off for them.
00:38:51And those who were followed said,
00:38:53If we had a second chance, we would turn away from them as they turned away from us.
00:39:00Thus does Allah show them their deeds in regret for them,
00:39:05and they will not come out of the Fire.
00:39:11O mankind! Eat of what is lawful and good in the earth,
00:39:17and follow not the footsteps of Satan.
00:39:21Verily, he is to you a manifest enemy.
00:39:26He only commands you evil and immorality,
00:39:32and that you say against Allah that which you know not.
00:39:37And when it is said to them, Follow that which Allah has sent down,
00:39:41they say, Nay, but we follow that upon which we turned our forefathers.
00:39:47What! Even if their forefathers understood not a thing, nor were they guided?
00:39:54And the likeness of those who disbelieve is like that of one who cries out for that which he hears not,
00:39:59except a supplication and a call.
00:40:05Deaf, dumb, blind, they understand not.
00:40:11O you who believe! Eat of the good things which We have provided for you,
00:40:16and give thanks to Allah, if it is He whom you worship.
00:40:24Verily, what is forbidden to you is the dead, and the blood, and the flesh of the pig,
00:40:30and that with which you have been humiliated, other than Allah.
00:40:33So whosoever does evil, whether he is a transgressor or a transgressor,
00:40:37there is no sin upon him. Verily, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
00:40:43Verily, those who conceal that which Allah has sent down of the Book,
00:40:49and buy with it a small price, those will have nothing to eat in their bellies except the Fire.
00:41:00And Allah will not speak to them on the Day of Resurrection, nor will He purify them.
00:41:07And for them is a painful punishment.
00:41:10Those are the ones who have bought error with guidance, and punishment with forgiveness.
00:41:17So what made them patient in the Fire?
00:41:22That is because Allah has sent down the Book with the truth.
00:41:27And verily, those who differ in the Book are in a great distance.
00:41:35It is not righteousness to turn your faces to the right and the left.
00:41:41But righteousness is he who believes in Allah and the Last Day,
00:41:51and the angels, and the Book, and the Prophets,
00:41:55and gives wealth for the love of Him, to those who are near, and to the orphans, and to the needy,
00:42:01and to the wayfarer, and to those who ask for help, and to those who are in need,
00:42:05and to those who perform As-Salat, and give Zakat,
00:42:08and to those who fulfill their covenant when they have made a covenant,
00:42:12and to those who are patient in adversity, and in hardship, and during adversity.
00:42:20Those are the ones who are truthful, and it is they who are the Muttaqun.
00:42:28O you who believe! It has been decreed for you to fight in battle.
00:42:34The free will fight with the free, and the slave will fight with the slave,
00:42:37and the female will fight with the female.
00:42:41So whosoever is spared from his brother a thing,
00:42:44then it is to follow what is right, and to perform good to him.
00:42:51That is a lightening from your Lord, and a mercy.
00:42:56So whosoever transgresses after that, then for him is a painful punishment.
00:43:01And for you in the battle is a life, O you who understand, that you may fear Allah.
00:43:08It is decreed for you, when death comes to one of you,
00:43:12that if he leaves good, it is a commandment for the parents and the relatives,
00:43:17in a good way, a right upon the Muttaqun.
00:43:21So whosoever changes it after he has heard it,
00:43:25then his sin is only against those who change it.
00:43:30Verily, Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.
00:43:34So whosoever fears from Musa a transgression or a sin,
00:43:39and makes amends between them, then there is no sin against him.
00:43:44Verily, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
00:43:49O you who believe! Fasting has been decreed for you, as it was decreed for those before you,
00:43:55that you may fear Allah.
00:43:57A limited number of days.
00:43:59So whosoever of you is sick, or is on a journey, then a number of other days.
00:44:06And for those who fast, it is a ransom, food for the needy.
00:44:10So whosoever volunteers for good, then it is good for him.
00:44:14And that you fast is better for you, if you only knew.
00:44:19The month of Ramadan, in which the Qur'an has been revealed,
00:44:22is a guidance for mankind, and clear proofs of guidance and distinction.
00:44:27So whosoever of you bears witness to the month, then let him fast.
00:44:31And whosoever is sick, or is on a journey, then a number of other days.
00:44:37Allah desires ease for you, and does not desire hardship for you.
00:44:40And that you may complete the number, and that you may glorify Allah for what He has guided you.
00:44:44And that you may be grateful.
00:44:46And when My servants ask you about Me, then I am near.
00:44:50I respond to the supplication of the supplicant when he supplicates.
00:44:53So let them respond to Me, and believe in Me, that they may be guided.
00:44:58The night of fasting has been made lawful for you.
00:45:00It is a ransom for your wives.
00:45:02They are a garment for you, and you are a garment for them.
00:45:06Allah knows that you used to deceive yourselves.
00:45:11So He has repented to you, and has pardoned you.
00:45:14So now give them good tidings, and seek that which Allah has decreed for you.
00:45:18And eat and drink, until the white thread becomes clear to you,
00:45:22from the black thread of Fajr.
00:45:25Then complete the fast till the night.
00:45:29And give them no good tidings, while you are standing in the mosques.
00:45:34Those are the limits of Allah, so approach not them.
00:45:37Thus does Allah make His Signs clear to the people, that they may fear Him.
00:45:43And devour not your wealth among yourselves with falsehood,
00:45:47and be led therewith to the rulers,
00:45:49that you may devour a part of the wealth of the people for sin,
00:45:53while you know.
00:45:56They ask you about the Ahlul-Ahl.
00:45:58Say, it is a time for the people and the Hajj.
00:46:01And the righteous are not because you come to the houses from behind them,
00:46:06but the righteous are those who fear Allah.
00:46:09And come to the houses from their doors.
00:46:12And fear Allah, that you may be successful.
00:46:15And fight in the Cause of Allah those who fight you,
00:46:19and do not transgress.
00:46:20Verily, Allah loves not the transgressors.
00:46:23And kill them where you find them,
00:46:26and drive them out from where they drove you out.
00:46:29And the trial is more severe than the killing.
00:46:31And do not fight them at the Sacred Mosque,
00:46:35until they fight you therein.
00:46:37And if they fight you, then kill them.
00:46:40Thus is the recompense of the disbelievers.
00:46:44And if they desist, then Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
00:46:48And fight them until there is no trial,
00:46:52and the religion is with Allah.
00:46:54And if they desist, then there is no aggression except against the Zalimun.
00:46:58The Sacred Month is the month of the Sacred,
00:47:01and the sacred things are related.
00:47:04So whosoever transgresses against you,
00:47:06transgress against him as he transgressed against you.
00:47:09And fear Allah, and know that Allah is with the Muttaqun.
00:47:14And spend in the Cause of Allah,
00:47:17and throw not your hands into destruction,
00:47:20and do good.
00:47:21Verily, Allah loves the doers of good.
00:47:25And complete the Hajj and Umrah for Allah.
00:47:29And if you are besieged, then it is not easy to guide.
00:47:33And do not bow your heads until the guide reaches his place.
00:47:38And whosoever of you is ill or has a headache,
00:47:43then it is a ransom from fasting, or charity, or almsgiving.
00:47:48And when you are secure, then whosoever enjoys the Umrah to the Hajj,
00:47:53then it is not easy to guide.
00:47:55And whosoever finds not, then it is the fasting of three days in the Hajj,
00:47:59and seven when you return.
00:48:02These are a total of ten.
00:48:04That is for whosoever's family is not present at the Sacred Mosque.
00:48:09And fear Allah, and know that Allah is severe in punishment.
00:48:14The Hajj is a month of knowledge.
00:48:18And whosoever has made the Hajj obligatory,
00:48:21then there will be no slander, no transgression, nor dispute in the Hajj.
00:48:25And whatever good you do, Allah knows it.
00:48:30And you provide for yourselves, and verily, the best increase is Taqwa.
00:48:34And fear Me, O you who have understanding.
00:48:37It is not a sin for you to seek bounty from your Lord.
00:48:42But when you depart from Arafat, then remember Allah at the Sacred Mosque,
00:48:49and remember Him as He has guided you.
00:48:51And if you are before Him, then you are among the astray.
00:49:00Then depart from where the people depart, and ask Allah for forgiveness.
00:49:07Verily, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
00:49:10And when you have completed your rites, then remember Allah,
00:49:14as you remember your fathers, or even more than that.
00:49:19And among the people is he who says,
00:49:22Our Lord! Give us in this world, and in the Hereafter we have no creation.
00:49:28And among them is he who says,
00:49:30Our Lord! Give us in this world a good deed, and in the Hereafter a good deed,
00:49:36and save us from the torment of the Fire.
00:49:40Those will have a share of what they have earned, and Allah is swift in reckoning.
00:49:48And remember Allah in a few days.
00:49:53So whosoever hastens in two days, there is no sin on him,
00:49:57and whosoever delays, there is no sin on him for him who fears Allah.
00:50:02And fear Allah, and know that to Him you will be gathered.
00:50:08And among the people is he who, in the life of this world,
00:50:13says what pleases you, and Allah bears witness to what is in his heart,
00:50:20and he is the most pleasant in dispute.
00:50:22And when he turns away, he strives in the earth to cause corruption therein,
00:50:26and to destroy the crop and the progeny.
00:50:29And Allah loves not corruption.
00:50:32And when it is said to him, Fear Allah,
00:50:34pride has seized him with sin.
00:50:37So Hell is enough for him, and what an evil resting-place!
00:50:42And among the people is he who sells himself seeking the pleasure of Allah.
00:50:50And Allah is Merciful to His servants.
00:50:54O you who believe! Enter into Islam in full,
00:51:02and follow not the footsteps of Shaytan.
00:51:06Verily, he is to you a manifest enemy.
00:51:10And if you go astray after the clear proofs have come to you,
00:51:16then know that Allah is All-Mighty, All-Wise.
00:51:20Do they wait except that Allah should come to them in the shade of the clouds,
00:51:26and the angels, and the matter be decided?
00:51:30And to Allah are all matters brought back.
00:51:33Ask the Children of Israel how many clear Signs We have given them.
00:51:41And whosoever changes the favor of Allah after it has come to him,
00:51:47then verily, Allah is severe in punishment.
00:51:51Fair is the life of the world for those who disbelieve,
00:51:55and they mock at those who believe.
00:51:58And those who fear Allah will be above them on the Day of Resurrection.
00:52:02And Allah provides for whom He wills without measure.
00:52:09The people were one nation, and Allah sent the Prophets as bearers of glad tidings and warners,
00:52:18and He sent down with them the Book with truth,
00:52:25that He may judge between the people in that in which they differed,
00:52:30and in that in which none differed except those who were given it after the clear Signs had come to them,
00:52:37out of disdain between them.
00:52:40So Allah guided those who believed to that in which they differed of the truth, by His leave.
00:52:45And Allah guides whom He wills to a Straight Path.
00:52:52Or did you think that you would enter Paradise,
00:52:56and when the like of those who passed away before you came to you,
00:53:02affliction and adversity touched them, and they were shaken until the Messenger said,
00:53:11and those who believed with him,
00:53:13When is the help of Allah? Verily, the help of Allah is near.
00:53:20They ask you, What do they spend?
00:53:24Say, Whatever good you spend, it is for the parents and the relatives and the orphans and the needy and the wayfarer.
00:53:34And whatever good you do, verily, Allah is All-Knowing of it.
00:53:39Fighting is prescribed for you, and it is a pleasure for you.
00:53:43And it may be that you hate a thing, and it is good for you.
00:53:47And it may be that you love a thing, and it is bad for you.
00:53:52And Allah knows, and you know not.
00:53:57They ask you about the Sacred Month, a battle therein. Say, A great battle therein,
00:54:05and a barrier from the Path of Allah, and disbelief in it, and the Sacred Mosque,
00:54:10and the expelling of its people from it, the greatest is with Allah.
00:54:14And the trial is greater than the killing.
00:54:17And they will continue to fight you until they turn you back from your religion, if they can.
00:54:23And whosoever of you turns back from his religion and dies while he is a disbeliever,
00:54:28it is they whose deeds will come to naught in this world and the Hereafter.
00:54:33And it is they, the dwellers of the Fire, who will abide therein.
00:54:38Verily, those who believe and those who emigrate and strive in the Cause of Allah,
00:54:43it is they who hope for the Mercy of Allah. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
00:54:50They ask you about al-Khamr and al-Maysr. Say, A great sin therein, and benefits for the people,
00:54:58and their sin is greater than their benefit.
00:55:01And they ask you, What do they spend? Say, Forgiveness.
00:55:05Thus does Allah make clear to you the Ayat, that you may reflect.
00:55:11In this world and the Hereafter.
00:55:13And they ask you about the orphans. Say, Reformation is better for them.
00:55:17And if you mix them up, then they are your brothers.
00:55:20And Allah knows the corrupter of the reformer.
00:55:23And if Allah had willed, He would have made you stubborn.
00:55:27Verily, Allah is All-Mighty, All-Wise.
00:55:30And marry not the polytheists until they believe.
00:55:34And a believing woman is better than a polytheist, even if she pleases you.
00:55:40Marry not the polytheists until they believe.
00:55:43And a believing man is better than a polytheist, even if he pleases you.
00:55:49Those are the ones they invite to the Fire.
00:55:54And Allah invites to Paradise and to Forgiveness by His Leave.
00:55:59And He makes clear His Ayat to the people, that they may reflect.
00:56:04And they ask you about the women. Say, It is better for them.
00:56:08So leave the women out of the women.
00:56:12And do not bring them near until they are pure.
00:56:15And when they are pure, then bring them from where Allah has commanded you.
00:56:21Verily, Allah loves the repentant, and He loves the pure.
00:56:27Your women are a burden for you, so bring your burden as you like.
00:56:33And give precedence to yourselves, and fear Allah, and know that you will meet Him.
00:56:41And give good tidings to the believers.
00:56:43And make not Allah a barrier for your oaths, that you may be righteous and fear Allah,
00:56:48and make peace between the people. And Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.
00:56:52Allah will not seize you by ill speech in your oaths, but He will seize you by what your hearts have earned.
00:57:00And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Forbearing.
00:57:03For those who have children from their wives, wait four months.
00:57:09And if they pass away, then verily, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
00:57:15And if they decide to divorce, then verily, Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.
00:57:20And the divorced women wait three generations for themselves.
00:57:26And it is not lawful for them to conceal what Allah has created in their wombs.
00:57:32Verily, they will believe in Allah and the Last Day.
00:57:37And it is lawful for them to turn away in that, if they desire reformation.
00:57:44And for them is the like of that which is upon them of the good, and for the men is upon them a degree.
00:57:51And Allah is All-Mighty, All-Wise.
00:57:54Divorce twice.
00:57:56And if they live in a good manner, or make amends in a good manner.
00:58:02And it is not lawful for you to take anything of that which you have given them,
00:58:08except that they fear that they will not establish the limits of Allah.
00:58:13So if you fear that they will not establish the limits of Allah,
00:58:16then there is no blame on them for what they have taken.
00:58:19These are the limits of Allah, so do not exceed them.
00:58:23And whosoever exceeds the limits of Allah, it is they who are the Zalimun.
00:58:29And if he divorces her, it is not lawful for him after that, until he marries another wife.
00:58:36And if he divorces her, there is no blame on them for turning away,
00:58:41if they have decided to establish the limits of Allah.
00:58:47And these are the limits of Allah, which He makes clear to a people who know.
00:58:52And when you divorce the women, and we have reached their term,
00:58:58then hold them in a good manner, or make amends in a good manner.
00:59:04And do not hold them by force, that you may transgress.
00:59:08And whosoever does that, he has indeed wronged himself.
00:59:11And take not the Ayat of Allah as a mockery.
00:59:15And remember Allah's Blessing on you, and what He has sent down to you of the Book and Wisdom,
00:59:21which He admonishes you with. And fear Allah, and know that Allah is All-Knowing of all things.
00:59:28And when you divorce the women, and we have reached their term,
00:59:34then hold them in a good manner, or make amends in a good manner.
00:59:43That is what is admonished by him who is of you who believes in Allah and the Last Day.
00:59:50That is purer for you, and purer. And Allah knows, and you know not.
00:59:59And the mothers give full sustenance to their children,
01:00:03for whosoever desires to be given full sustenance.
01:00:06And for the son is their provision, and their covering, in a good manner.
01:00:11No soul is charged except with its capacity.
01:00:13No mother is harmed by her son, nor is a son given to him by his son.
01:00:21And for the heir is the same.
01:00:23So if they desire to be separated from one another, and to quarrel, there is no blame on them.
01:00:30And if you desire to give your children full sustenance, there is no blame on you,
01:00:35if you submit what you have given in a good manner.
01:00:39And fear Allah, and know that Allah is All-Seeing of what you do.
01:00:44And as for those of you who die, and leave their spouses,
01:00:47they shall wait for four months and ten days.
01:00:52And when they have reached their term, there is no blame on you for what they have done in their souls in a good manner.
01:00:59And Allah is All-Aware of what you do.
01:01:02And there is no blame on you for what you have offered of the speech of the women,
01:01:08or what you have given in your souls.
01:01:11Allah knows that you will remember them,
01:01:14but you will not promise them a secret, except that you speak a word of good manners.
01:01:20And you will not be firm in the covenant of marriage until the Book reaches its term.
01:01:26And know that Allah knows what is in your souls, so beware of Him.
01:01:31And know that Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Forbearing.
01:01:35There is no blame on you, if you divorce the women whom you have not touched,
01:01:42or impose upon them an obligation.
01:01:45And give them a goodly provision, according to the extent of their expansion,
01:01:48and according to the extent of their reduction,
01:01:50a goodly provision, a right upon the doers of good.
01:01:54And if you divorce them before you touch them,
01:01:59and you have imposed upon them an obligation,
01:02:02then half of that which you have imposed on them,
01:02:04except that they forgive or the one in whose hand is the covenant of marriage.
01:02:10And that you forgive is nearer to Taqwa.
01:02:13And forget not the favour between you.
01:02:16Verily, Allah is All-Seeing of what you do.
01:02:20Keep up the Salawat and the Salat al-Wusqa, and stand up to Allah obediently.
01:02:26And if you fear, then stand up on your feet or on your knees.
01:02:29And when you are secure, remember Allah as He has taught you that which you did not know.
01:02:36And as for those of you who die, and leave wives as a commandment for their wives,
01:02:42a goodly provision around them, without expelling.
01:02:45And if we expel, there is no blame on you for what we have done to their souls of good.
01:02:52And Allah is All-Mighty, All-Wise.
01:02:55And for those who are divorced, a goodly provision is a right upon the Muttaqun.
01:02:59Thus does Allah make His Ayat clear to you, that you may understand.
01:03:04Do you not see those who went forth from their homes while they were thousands,
01:03:08fearing death, and Allah said to them,
01:03:10Die, and then give them life.
01:03:12Verily, Allah is the Possessor of Bounty over the people,
01:03:16but most of the people are not grateful.
01:03:19And fight in the Cause of Allah, and know that Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.
01:03:24Who is it that lends Allah a goodly loan, and multiplies it for him many times?
01:03:31And Allah collects and distributes, and to Him you will be returned.
01:03:35Did you not see the chiefs of the Children of Israel after Musa,
01:03:41when they said to a Prophet of theirs,
01:03:43Send to us a king, we will fight in the Cause of Allah.
01:03:47He said, Do you think that if the battle is written for you that you will not fight?
01:03:52They said, Why should we not fight in the Cause of Allah,
01:03:56when we have been driven out of our homes and our children?
01:04:01So when the battle was written for them, they turned away, except a few of them.
01:04:06And Allah is All-Knowing of the Zalimun.
01:04:10And their Prophet said to them,
01:04:12Verily, Allah has sent for you Talut as a king.
01:04:16They said, How can he have power over us,
01:04:19when we have more right to sovereignty than he has, and he has not been given a fraction of the wealth?
01:04:24He said, Verily, Allah has chosen him over you,
01:04:27and increased him in knowledge and in body.
01:04:30And Allah gives His sovereignty to whom He wills.
01:04:34And Allah is All-Encompassing, All-Knowing.
01:04:37And their Prophet said to them,
01:04:39Verily, the sign of his sovereignty is that the coffin will come to you,
01:04:42in which there will be tranquillity from your Lord,
01:04:45and a remnant of that which the people of Musa and the people of Harun left,
01:04:50which the angels carry.
01:04:53Verily, in that is a sign for you, if you are believers.
01:04:59So when Talut separated the soldiers, he said,
01:05:02Verily, Allah will test you with a river,
01:05:05and whosoever drinks from it is not of me,
01:05:08and whosoever does not feed it is of me.
01:05:11And whosoever does not feed it is of me,
01:05:14except he who takes a portion in his hand,
01:05:17and they drink from it, except a little from it.
01:05:21So when he and those who believed with him passed it,
01:05:25they said,
01:05:26We will not be able today to kill Jalut and his soldiers.
01:05:29Those who think that they will meet Allah said,
01:05:32How many a small party has overcome a large party by the leave of Allah!
01:05:39And Allah is with the patient.
01:05:42And when they came out to Jalut and his soldiers,
01:05:45they said,
01:05:46Our Lord, pour upon us patience,
01:05:48and make firm our feet,
01:05:50and help us against the disbelieving people.
01:05:54So they defeated them by the leave of Allah,
01:05:56and David killed Jalut,
01:05:58and Allah gave him sovereignty and wisdom,
01:06:00and taught him all that He willed.
01:06:04And if Allah had not pushed the people,
01:06:06some of them by some,
01:06:08the earth would have been corrupted.
01:06:09But Allah is the Possessor of Bounty over the worlds.
01:06:13These are the Ayat of Allah.
01:06:14We recite them to you in truth.
01:06:17And verily, you are of the Messengers.
01:06:20These are the Messengers.
01:06:21We have preferred some of them over others.
01:06:23Of them are those whom Allah has spoken to,
01:06:26and raised some of them in ranks.
01:06:28And We gave Jesus, son of Mary, clear proofs,
01:06:31and supported him with the Holy Spirit.
01:06:34And if Allah had willed,
01:06:36those after them would have been slain,
01:06:39after the clear proofs had come to them.
01:06:43But they differed.
01:06:44Some of them believed,
01:06:46and some of them disbelieved.
01:06:48And if Allah had willed,
01:06:51they would have been slain.
01:06:52But Allah does what He wills.
01:06:55O you who believe!
01:06:57Spend from that which We have provided you,
01:07:00before there comes a Day
01:07:03when there will be no bargaining therein,
01:07:04nor friendship, nor intercession.
01:07:07And the disbelievers are the Zalimun.
01:07:10Allah! There is no god but He,
01:07:12the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsisting.
01:07:13No slumber or sleep will take Him
01:07:16whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is on the earth.
01:07:18Who is it that will intercede with Him,
01:07:20except by His leave?
01:07:22He knows what is before them and what is behind them,
01:07:24and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge
01:07:27except as He wills.
01:07:30His throne is wide over the heavens and the earth,
01:07:32and His protection will not harm Him.
01:07:34And He is the Most High, the Most Great.
01:07:37There is no compulsion in religion.
01:07:38The right guidance has become clear from the wrong guidance.
01:07:41So whoso disbelieves in the transgressors,
01:07:43and believes in Allah,
01:07:44he has grasped the firmness,
01:07:46the weight,
01:07:47in its firmness.
01:07:49And Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.
01:07:51Allah is the Protector of those who believe.
01:07:54He brings them out of darkness into the light.
01:07:58And those who disbelieve, their protectors are the Taghut.
01:08:03They bring them out of the light into the darkness.
01:08:07They are the dwellers of the Fire,
01:08:11they will abide therein.
01:08:13Do you not see the one who argued with Abraham about his Lord,
01:08:19that Allah should give him sovereignty?
01:08:21When Abraham said,
01:08:22My Lord is He who gives life and causes death.
01:08:25He said, I give life and cause death.
01:08:27Abraham said,
01:08:28Verily, Allah brings forth the sun from the east,
01:08:32and brings it forth from the west.
01:08:34But the disbeliever was astonished.
01:08:36And Allah guides not the wrongdoing people.
01:08:39Or like the one who passed over a town,
01:08:42while it was lying on its roofs.
01:08:44He said,
01:08:45How can this Allah give life after its death?
01:08:49So Allah caused it to die for a hundred years,
01:08:52then He resurrected it.
01:08:54He said, How long did you stay?
01:08:56He said,
01:08:57I stayed a day or a part of a day.
01:08:59He said,
01:09:00Nay, but you stayed a hundred years.
01:09:02So look at your food and your drink,
01:09:04they have not faded.
01:09:06And look at your donkey,
01:09:08that We may make you a sign for the people.
01:09:12And look at the bones,
01:09:14how We raise them up,
01:09:16then We cover them with flesh.
01:09:19And when it became clear to him,
01:09:21he said,
01:09:22Verily, Allah is Able to do all things.
01:09:26And when Abraham said,
01:09:28My Lord, show me how You give life to the dead.
01:09:31He said,
01:09:32Do you not believe?
01:09:33He said,
01:09:34Nay, but that my heart may be at rest.
01:09:37He said,
01:09:38Then take four of the birds,
01:09:40and lead them to you,
01:09:42then place a portion on each of their camels,
01:09:46then call upon them,
01:09:48that they may come to you in pursuit.
01:09:50And know that Allah is All-Mighty, All-Wise.
01:10:20They will have their reward with their Lord,
01:10:24and there will be no fear for them,
01:10:25nor will they grieve.
01:10:27A kind word,
01:10:29and forgiveness is better than charity
01:10:33followed by harm.
01:10:35And Allah is Free of need, Forbearing.
01:10:37O you who believe!
01:10:39Do not let your charity be in vain,
01:10:42with the favor and the harm,
01:10:44like one who spends his wealth
01:10:46to see the people,
01:10:48and does not believe in Allah
01:10:50and the Last Day.
01:10:52And his likeness is like the likeness of a rock
01:10:54on which is dust,
01:10:55and it is hit by a thunderbolt,
01:10:57and it is left as a barrier.
01:10:59They have no power over anything
01:11:01of that which they have earned.
01:11:03And Allah guides not the disbelieving people.
01:11:07And the likeness of those who spend their wealth
01:11:10seeking the pleasure of Allah
01:11:13and as a proof for themselves,
01:11:16is like the likeness of a garden
01:11:19on which is a thunderbolt,
01:11:21and it is hit by a thunderbolt,
01:11:23and it gives its fruit twice,
01:11:26and if it is not struck by a thunderbolt,
01:11:29then it is lost.
01:11:31And Allah is Seeing of what you do.
01:11:35Would any of you like
01:11:37to have a garden of date-palms
01:11:40and grapes,
01:11:42under which rivers flow,
01:11:45having therein all kinds of fruit?
01:11:50And old age befalls him,
01:11:52and he has a weak progeny,
01:12:00and there befalls it a scorching fire,
01:12:03and it burns.
01:12:05Thus does Allah make clear to you the Ayat
01:12:08that you may reflect.
01:12:11O you who believe!
01:12:13Spend of the good that you have earned,
01:12:17and of that which We have brought forth for you from the earth.
01:12:21And give not up the bad that you spend,
01:12:25and take not it,
01:12:27except that you are lost in it.
01:12:31And know that Allah is Self-Sufficient, Worthy of all Praise.
01:12:35Shaytan promises you poverty
01:12:38and orders you to do immorality.
01:12:42And Allah promises you forgiveness from Him and bounty.
01:12:47And Allah is All-Encompassing, All-Knowing.
01:12:50He gives wisdom to whom He wills.
01:12:55And whosoever is given wisdom,
01:12:57he is given much good.
01:13:00And none remember except those of understanding.
01:13:04And whatever you spend of spending,
01:13:08or vow of vowing,
01:13:11verily, Allah knows it.
01:13:14And for the wrongdoers there are no helpers.
01:13:18If you spend of charity,
01:13:20then excellent is that which it is.
01:13:23And if you conceal it and give it to the poor,
01:13:27then it is better for you.
01:13:29And it will remove from you from your evil deeds.
01:13:34And Allah is All-Aware of what you do.
01:13:37There is no guidance for you,
01:13:39but Allah guides whom He wills.
01:13:44And whatever you spend of charity,
01:13:47it is for yourselves.
01:13:49And you spend not,
01:13:51but seeking the Face of Allah.
01:13:56And whatever you spend of charity,
01:13:59it will be returned to you,
01:14:00and you will not be wronged.
01:14:03For the poor who have been confined in the way of Allah,
01:14:08they cannot strike the earth.
01:14:11The ignorant will think them self-sufficient,
01:14:18because of their vanity.
01:14:20You will recognize them by their mark.
01:14:22They will not ask people for help.
01:14:25And whatever you spend of charity,
01:14:28verily, Allah knows it.
01:14:31Those who spend their wealth by night and by day,
01:14:36secretly and openly,
01:14:39then they will have their reward with their Lord.
01:14:43And there will be no fear for them,
01:14:45nor will they grieve.
01:14:47Those who eat interest,
01:14:49they stand not except as those who stand
01:14:52whom Shaitan slaps from the touch.
01:14:56That is because they say,
01:14:58Selling is like interest.
01:15:01And Allah has made selling lawful,
01:15:02and has forbidden interest.
01:15:04So whosoever is given an admonition from his Lord,
01:15:09and it is finished,
01:15:10then to him is what came before,
01:15:11and his affair is with Allah.
01:15:13And whosoever returns,
01:15:14then those are the dwellers of the Fire,
01:15:17they will abide therein.
01:15:19Allah erases interest,
01:15:21and gives rise to charity.
01:15:23And Allah loves not every sinful disbeliever.
01:15:27Verily, those who believe,
01:15:29and do righteous deeds,
01:15:30and establish prayer,
01:15:31and give Zakat,
01:15:33they will have their reward with their Lord.
01:15:35And there will be no fear for them,
01:15:36nor will they grieve.
01:15:39O you who believe!
01:15:41Fear Allah,
01:15:42and leave what is left of interest,
01:15:44if you are believers.
01:15:48But if you do not,
01:15:49then take leave of a war from Allah and His Messenger.
01:15:52And if you repent,
01:15:53then you will have the heads of your wealth.
01:15:56You will not do wrong,
01:15:57and you will not be wronged.
01:15:59And if the owner of hardship,
01:16:01then it is a look to ease.
01:16:03And that you give charity is better for you,
01:16:06if you only knew.
01:16:09And fear a Day,
01:16:11in which you will be returned to Allah.
01:16:15Then every soul will be paid in full
01:16:18for what it earned,
01:16:19and they will not be wronged.
01:16:21O you who believe!
01:16:23When you borrow a debt
01:16:26for a specified term,
01:16:29then write it down.
01:16:32And let a scribe write between you,
01:16:34with justice.
01:16:35And no scribe will refuse to write,
01:16:37as Allah has taught him.
01:16:40So let him write,
01:16:41and let him who has the right to do so,
01:16:43and let him fear Allah,
01:16:44his Lord,
01:16:45and let him not deviate from it at all.
01:16:47And if he who has the right to do so,
01:16:50is foolish,
01:16:51or weak,
01:16:52or is not able to do it,
01:16:54then let him who has the right to do so,
01:16:55do it with justice.
01:16:57Then you will bear witness,
01:16:58two of your men.
01:17:00And if they are not two men,
01:17:02then a man and two women,
01:17:04from those of the witnesses whom you are pleased with,
01:17:07that one of them should go astray,
01:17:09and one of them should remind the other.
01:17:12And the witnesses will not refuse
01:17:15when they are called.
01:17:17And you will not bear to write it down,
01:17:19whether small or large,
01:17:21until its due time.
01:17:22That is most just with Allah,
01:17:24and most worthy of witnessing,
01:17:26and it is better that you do not doubt,
01:17:28except that it be a present transaction,
01:17:32which you conduct among yourselves.
01:17:34So there is no blame upon you
01:17:36that you do not write it down.
01:17:38And bear witness when you make a pledge of allegiance,
01:17:41and neither a writer nor a witness will be harmed.
01:17:48And if you do so,
01:17:49then it is a disobedience to you.
01:17:52And fear Allah,
01:17:54and Allah will teach you.
01:17:56And Allah is the All-Knowing of all things.
01:18:24And Allah is All-Aware of what you do.
01:18:27To Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth.
01:18:30And if you reveal what is in yourselves,
01:18:33or conceal it,
01:18:34Allah will judge you for it.
01:18:38And He forgives whom He wills,
01:18:41and punishes whom He wills.
01:18:45And Allah is Able to do all things.
01:18:50The Messenger believed in what was sent down to him from his Lord,
01:18:54and the believers.
01:18:56All believed in Allah and His angels and His Books and His Messengers.
01:19:02We make no distinction between any of His Messengers.
01:19:05And they said,
01:19:06We have heard and obeyed your forgiveness, our Lord,
01:19:09and to You is the destination.
01:19:11Allah does not burden a soul except with its capacity.
01:19:15It has what it earned,
01:19:16and upon it is what it earned.
01:19:19Our Lord, do not take us if we forget or make a mistake.
01:19:24Our Lord, and do not burden upon us a burden as You have burdened those before us.
01:19:32Our Lord, and do not burden us with that which we have no power to bear.
01:19:37And pardon us,
01:19:39and forgive us,
01:19:41and have mercy on us.
01:19:43You are our Protector, so help us against the disbelieving people.
