01:04Lord God, heavenly King, O God, Almighty Father.
01:08Lord Jesus Christ, only begotten Son.
01:11Lord God, Lamb of God, Son of the Father, you take away the sins of the world.
01:17Have mercy on us.
01:18You take away the sins of the world.
01:20Receive our prayer.
01:22You are seated at the right hand of the Father.
01:24Have mercy on us.
01:26For we alone are the Holy One.
01:28You alone are the Lord.
01:30You alone are the Most High, Jesus Christ, with the Holy Spirit, in the glory of God the Father.
01:36Amen.
01:38O God, who show the light of your truth to those who go astray, so that they may return to the right path.
01:48Give all for the faith to profess, our accounted Christian, the grace to reject whatever is contrary to the name of Christ,
01:55and to strive after all that does it honor.
01:58Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit.
02:04God forever and ever.
02:06Amen.
02:12A reading from the book of the prophet Amos.
02:15Amaziah, priest of Bethel, said to Amos,
02:19Off with you, visionary, flee to the land of Judah.
02:24There earn your bread by prophesying, but never again prophecy in Bethel,
02:30for it is the king's sanctuary and a royal temple.
02:35Amos answered Amaziah,
02:39I was no prophet, nor have I belonged to a company of prophets.
02:44I was a shepherd and dresser of sycamores.
02:48The Lord took me from following the flock and said to me,
02:53Go, prophecy to my people Israel.
02:57The word of the Lord.
02:59Thanks be to God.
03:02Lord, let us see your kindness and grant us your salvation.
03:06Lord, let us see your kindness and grant us our salvation.
03:12I will hear what God proclaims.
03:15The Lord, for he proclaims peace.
03:18Near indeed is his salvation to those who fear him.
03:23Glory dwelling in our land.
03:26Lord, let us see your kindness and grant us your salvation.
03:30Kindness and truth shall meet.
03:33Justice and peace shall kiss.
03:36Truth shall spring out of the earth and justice shall look down from heaven.
03:42Lord, let us see your kindness and grant us your salvation.
03:46The Lord himself will give his benefits.
03:50Our land shall yield its increase.
03:53Justice shall walk before him and prepare the way of his steps.
03:59Lord, let us see your kindness and grant us your salvation.
04:05A reading from the letter of St. Paul to the Ephesians.
04:09Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
04:14who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavens,
04:19as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world
04:24to be holy and without blemish before him.
04:28In love, he destined us for adoption to himself through Jesus Christ
04:34in accord with the favor of his will,
04:37for the praise of the glory of his grace that he granted us in the beloved.
04:43In him we have redemption by his blood and forgiveness of transgressions
04:50in accord with the riches of his grace that he lavished upon us.
04:55In all wisdom and insight, he has made known to us the mystery of his will
05:02in accord with his favor that he set forth in him as a plan for the fullness of times
05:10to sum up all things in Christ in heaven and on earth.
05:15In him we were also chosen, destined in accord with the purpose of the one
05:21who accomplishes all things according to the intention of his will,
05:26so that we might exist for the praise of his glory,
05:30we who first hoped in Christ.
05:33In him you also have heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation,
05:41and have believed in him.
05:44We're sealed with the promise of the Holy Spirit,
05:47which is the first installment of our inheritance toward redemption
05:52as God's possession to the praise of his glory.
05:57The word of the Lord. Thanks be to God.
06:01Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia.
06:05May the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ enlighten the eyes of our hearts
06:10that we may know what is the hope that belongs to our call.
06:15Alleluia, alleluia.
06:18Alleluia, alleluia.
06:28The Lord be with you. And with your spirit.
06:31A reading from the Holy Gospel according to Mark.
06:34Glory to you, O Lord.
06:38Jesus summoned the twelve and began to send them out two by two
06:41and gave them authority over unclean spirit.
06:44He instructed them to take nothing for the journey, but a walking stick,
06:48no food, no sight, no money in their belts.
06:51They were, however, to wear sandals, but not a second tunic.
06:55He said to them, whatever you enter a house, stay there until you leave.
07:01Whatever place does not welcome you or listen to you,
07:05leave there and shake the dust off your feet in testimony against them.
07:09So the wind off and preach repentance.
07:12The twelve drove out many demons and the anointed with oil,
07:16many who were sick and cured them.
07:19The Gospel of the Lord.
07:21Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.
07:24Let us profess our faith.
07:31I believe in one God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth,
07:35of all things visible and invisible.
07:38I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God,
07:42born of the Father before all ages.
07:45God from God, light from light, true God from true God,
07:49begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father.
07:53Through him all things were made.
07:55For us men and for our salvation he came down from heaven
07:59and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary and became man.
08:03For our sake he was crucified on the Pontius Pilate,
08:06he suffered death in Nazarene,
08:08and rose again on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures.
08:12He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
08:15He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead,
08:19and his kingdom will have no end.
08:21I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,
08:24who proceeds from the Father and the Son,
08:27who with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified,
08:30who has spoken through the prophets.
08:32I believe in one holy, Catholic, and apostolic Church.
08:35I confess one baptism for the forgiveness of sins,
08:38and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead
08:41and the life of the world to come. Amen.
08:44For all the prayers that we hold in the silence of our heart,
08:49let us pray to the Lord. Lord, hear our prayer.
08:53Almighty God, we thank you for your blessings.
08:56Help us to become intentional disciples
09:01and to share the faith of Jesus with others
09:04as we pray in his name, Christ our Lord. Amen.
09:09Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation,
09:12for to your goodness we have received the bread we offer you,
09:15fruit of the earth and work of human hands.
09:17It will become for us the bread of life.
09:19Blessed be God forever.
09:30Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation,
09:32for to your goodness we have received the wine we offer you,
09:35fruit of the vine and work of human hands.
09:37It will become our spiritual drink.
09:39Blessed be God forever.
09:41Amen.
09:47Pray, my sisters and brothers,
09:49that my sacrifice and yours may be acceptable to God,
09:52our Almighty Father.
09:53May the Lord accept the sacrifice at your hands
09:55for the praise and glory of his name,
09:57for our good and the good of all his holy Church.
10:00Look upon the offerings of the Church, O Lord,
10:02as she makes her prayer to you,
10:05and grant that when consumed by those who believe,
10:08they may bring ever greater holiness to Christ our Lord.
10:12Amen.
10:13The Lord be with you.
10:14And with your spirit.
10:15Lift up your hearts.
10:16We lift them up to the Lord.
10:18Let us give thanks to the Lord, our God.
10:21It is right and just.
10:22It is truly right and just,
10:24our duty and our salvation,
10:26always and everywhere to give you thanks, Father most holy.
10:29To your beloved Son, Jesus Christ,
10:31you were born to whom you made all things,
10:33whom you sent as our Saviour and Redeemer.
10:35Incarnate by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin,
10:38fulfilling your will and gaining for your holy people,
10:41he stretched out his hands and endured his passion
10:43so as to break the bonds of death and manifest the resurrection.
10:46And so with angels and all the saints,
10:49we declare your glory,
10:51as with one voice we acclaim.
10:53Holy, holy, holy Lord God of hosts,
10:57heaven and earth are full of your glory.
10:59Hosanna in the highest.
11:00Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.
11:03Hosanna in the highest.
11:06I've got a quote here from St. Basil the Great,
11:08born in the year 330 on the Holy Eucharist.
11:11He said,
11:12To partake of the holy volume of the blood of Christ
11:14is good and beneficial,
11:16for he says quite plainly,
11:18He that eats my flesh and drinks my blood
11:20has eternal life.
11:21Who can doubt that to share continually life
11:24is the same thing as having life abundantly?
11:29You are indeed holy, O Lord,
11:30the fount of all holiness.
11:32Make holy therefore these gifts, we pray,
11:34by spilling out your Spirit upon them like the dewfall,
11:37so that they may become for us
11:39the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.
11:43At the time he was betrayed
11:45and entered willingly into his passion,
11:47he took bread and giving thanks broke it,
11:49and gave it to his disciples, saying,
11:51Take this, all of you, and eat of it,
11:55for this is my body,
11:57which will be given up for you.
12:03In a similar way, when supper was ended,
12:09he took the chalice,
12:10and once more giving thanks,
12:12gave it to his disciples, saying,
12:14Take this, all of you, drink from it,
12:16for this is the chalice of my blood,
12:18the blood of the new and eternal covenant,
12:20which will be poured out for you and for me
12:24for the forgiveness of sins.
12:26Do this in memory of me.
12:33The Mystery of Faith
12:36When we eat this bread and drink this cup,
12:39we proclaim your death, O Lord,
12:41until you come again.
12:43Therefore, as we celebrate the memorial
12:45of his death and resurrection,
12:46we offer you, Lord, the bread of life
12:48and the chalice of salvation,
12:49giving thanks that you have held us worthy
12:51to be in your presence and minister to you.
12:53Humbly we pray that,
12:54partaking of the body and blood of Christ,
12:56we may be gathered into one by the Holy Spirit.
12:59Remember, Lord, your church throughout the world,
13:01and bring her to the fullness of charity,
13:03together with Francis, our Pope,
13:05Louis, our Bishop, and all your people.
13:08Remember also our brothers and sisters
13:10who have fallen asleep in the hope of the resurrection,
13:12and all who have died in your mercy.
13:15Welcome them into the light of your face.
13:17Have mercy on us all, we pray,
13:19that with the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God,
13:21with blessed Joseph, her spouse,
13:23with the blessed apostles,
13:25and all the saints who have pleased you
13:27throughout the ages,
13:28we may merit to be choirs to eternal life,
13:31and may praise and glorify you
13:33through your Son, Jesus Christ.
13:36Through him, and with him, and in him,
13:38O God, Almighty Father,
13:39in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
13:41all glory and honor is yours,
13:43forever and ever.
13:45Amen.
13:49At the Savior's command,
13:50and formed by divine teaching,
13:52we dare to pray.
13:53Our Father, who art in heaven,
13:55hallowed be thy name.
13:57Thy kingdom come,
13:58thy will be done
13:59on earth as it is in heaven.
14:01Give us this day our daily bread,
14:03and forgive us our trespasses,
14:05as we forgive those who trespass against us.
14:08And lead us not into temptation,
14:10but deliver us from evil.
14:12Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil.
14:14Graciously grant peace in our days,
14:16that by the help of your mercy,
14:17we may be always free from sin
14:19and safe from all distress,
14:21as we await the blessed hope
14:23and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
14:25For the kingdom, the power,
14:27and the glory are yours,
14:28now and forever.
14:29Lord Jesus Christ,
14:30who said to your apostles,
14:31Peace I leave you,
14:32my peace I give you,
14:33look not on our sins,
14:35but on the faith of your Church,
14:36and graciously grant her peace and unity,
14:39in accordance with your will,
14:41who live and reign forever and ever.
14:43Amen.
14:44The peace of the Lord be with you always.
14:46And with your spirit.
14:48Let us offer each other a sign of Christ's peace.
14:50Lamb of God,
14:51you take away the sins of the world,
14:53have mercy on us.
14:55Lamb of God,
14:56you take away the sins of the world,
14:58have mercy on us.
14:59Lamb of God,
15:00you take away the sins of the world,
15:02grant us peace.
15:06Behold Jesus Christ,
15:08the living bread come down from heaven.
15:10Blessed are those called to the supper of the Lamb.
15:13Lord, I am not worthy
15:15that you should enter under my roof,
15:17but only say the word
15:18and my soul shall be healed.
15:20May the body and blood of Christ
15:22keep us safe for eternity.
15:24My Jesus,
15:25I believe that you are present
15:27in the most blessed sacrament.
15:29I love you above all things,
15:31and I desire to receive you into my soul.
15:34Since I cannot now receive you sacramentally,
15:37come at least spiritually into my heart.
15:40I embrace you as if you were already there,
15:42and unite myself wholly to you.
15:45Never permit me to be separated from you.
15:48Amen.
15:51Let us pray.
15:53Having consumed these gifts,
15:55we pray, O Lord,
15:56that by our participation in this mystery,
15:59its saving effects upon us may grow.
16:02Through Christ our Lord.
16:03Amen.
16:04The Lord be with you.
16:05And with your spirit.
16:06And may almighty God bless you,
16:08the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
16:11Amen.
16:12Go in peace and make disciples.
16:14Thanks be to God.
16:20Amen.
