01:03based on the Pulse Asia Survey conducted a week before President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s State of the Nation Address or SONA.
01:1372% of Filipinos, or 7 out of 10 Filipinos, believe that the government should still prioritize controlling inflation
01:26or speeding up the price of goods,
01:30in line with raising the wages of workers,
01:33lowering the poverty rate,
01:36cutting jobs,
01:38and fighting corruption.
01:40In spite of all the difficulties, we are transforming the economy.
01:45We are stabilizing the prices of all critical commodities.
01:49According to the Banco Central,
01:51inflation is expected to ease further by the close of the year
01:55and projected at 2.9% by 2024.
02:00The Marcos administration also received a positive net approval rating in resolving several issues in the country,
02:07including protecting overseas Filipino workers,
02:11responding quickly to the time of calamities,
02:14and promoting peace in the country.
02:18The survey was conducted last month
02:20through a face-to-face interview with Filipino adults over the age of 18.
02:27I hope that the wages of the people will be raised a little
02:35so that we can afford our daily needs.
02:41According to the President,
02:42the Philippines is considered the fastest-growing economy in Asia,
02:45even in the whole world.
02:48The government is also promoting
02:51economic growth,
02:53industrial development,
02:56and the addition of infrastructure
02:58to speed up the transportation of products
03:02and the distribution of public services to all Filipinos.
