00:00You spent more than 40k alone. Tell us more about your day and feelings.

00:05Yeah, so the first stages, we didn't have the beginning of the tour we wanted.

00:11So today the goal was to be super aggressive and to bounce back from the last stages.

00:16And yeah, so I took a chance at the beginning, kept attacking and at some point it went.

00:21And I knew in the climb, if I would go with a bit of a short advantage there, I could hold on.

00:29But I thought at one point they would catch me and they never did.

00:32And I really started to believe in it, like in the last climb.

00:35And yeah, it feels really special to have my first win here at the Giro.

00:40How special it is to win here?

00:43Well, it's my first win ever, so it feels super good.

00:49And yeah, I'm really proud for our teamwork.

00:54And I'm really happy to have been able to show what I can do and all the hard work.

01:02How do you think your career is going to change from now on?

01:06My what? Sorry?

01:10For sure, it's going to help me to have more confidence.

01:13I started cycling a bit late, later than other riders probably.

01:17And I was always lacking that confidence without having ever achieved any top results.

01:26So I think it's going to help me to build confidence in myself and in my team as well.

01:38Women, how was your day and how are you?

01:41Yeah, I felt very good today.

01:43There was a breakaway going at the beginning and then another big group going after the San Marino climb where we had Brody.

01:52But then we stopped her because we wanted to be in control.

01:55We knew Ludwig was in contention for the Maglia Rosa and we wanted to just have that under control.

02:04We knew Kopecky was the main, how do you call it, enemy for the day.

02:14So we didn't want her to get time gaps but I also managed to beat her in the sprint.

02:20So it was overall a good day.

02:22How about tomorrow? How do you see tomorrow's stage?

02:25It's going to be another lumpy stage and it seems like it's more suited for the sprinters but you never know.

02:36Lotte, yesterday you said it was too hard for you today but we saw you come in with the Maglia Rosa group and trying to win the bunch sprint.

02:44Yeah, it was a pretty warm, hot day and a pretty big group out so I knew it was pretty hard to go for a stage win.

02:55But in the end I think it was a very nice final climb and I just gave it a go.

03:11Yeah, well, I don't know. I don't know her really well.

03:16I think it's nice that they tried to go in the break and it's very nice that they can finish it off.

03:25Antonia, today was a really hot stage. Did you suffer the heat?

03:29Yeah, for sure. The heat was really, really hard today to handle but I could handle it quite well.

03:38Also, I think the team was okay even though the heat was so strong.

03:43You're the best young rider and the moment you sit sixth with the Maglia Rosa classification.

03:48Are you going to climb it up a little bit more?

03:51Yeah, hopefully. I think my stages are still to come so hopefully we can climb a little bit up in it to see.

03:59But I think even though we can be quite happy with our race today, the whole team worked really well.

04:05And also with Soraya, we have a really, really nice result.
