00:07a content creator who purportedly took her own life after allegedly being cyberbullied
00:11on TikTok.
00:14Sentul Police Chief Sukarno Zahari said the suspect who works as a caretaker at an elderly
00:18home is under remand until July 10.
00:21In a statement, he said the suspect did not know the content creator Rajaswari Appahu,
00:25better known as Aisha, personally.
00:27Previously, activist David Marshall claimed Rajaswari was bullied and harassed on social
00:32media before she died on July 5.
00:35A day before her death, the 29-year-old influencer filed a police report against two people for
00:40allegedly harassing her on TikTok.
00:42The case is being investigated under Section 506 of the Penal Code for criminal intimidation,
00:47Section 233 of the Communication and Multimedia Act 1998 for abusing network facilities, and
00:53Section 14 of the Minor Offenses Act 1955 for insulting behavior.
